2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Whelp here we are....Have Jordan Love and his red Q and wake up to see Mahommes has been dropped for Nix.
Other FA options are the usual suspects: Carr, Stafford, Winston, Lawrence, Flacco, Jones, Rodgers. Is this the move to make even if its only 1 week vs terrible passing D @ home?
Bo was always my go to for a cheap back up when I took a stud QB early so I have a ton. The same with Drake Maye.
I also have a ton of Kraft. I thought it was too easy to just fade Musgrave and take Kraft in the last round. He kind of felt like this years Puka.
I have very little Russ and no Flacco. I have 8% Fields. I still think Russ will wear his welcome out at some point with stupid end of game fumbles.
I ran hot with the number one pick so I have about 10% CMC. I started to take Lamb at num
I’ve faded everyone on that list besides la porta I like his ROS outlook especially with tight ends picking it up but I loved Kraft this season have zero musgrave n don’t be so sure about Russ that’s his job clearly for rest of season he was a east draft spot at the end of a draft
What are we doing with Jonathon Brooks in redraft leagues?
Wouldn’t start him his first active game bc I assume there will be a ramp up in workload and he will only see 8-10 touches. It’s kinda hard to see him being that great of a start this year with how well Hubbard has played and how bad their offense is. I’m going to leave him on the bench unless he looks great or starts to see a big role

This might be the first good opportunity for Mahomes since week 1 against the Ravens. I can't imagine there are better options than Mahomes if Love can't go.
The top people at ranking QBs on fantasy pros have him ranked around 7-9 this week. I am starting him over Baker, although KC isn't a good matchup for him.

Love has his bye next week too. Chiefs play the Broncos, so not the easiest match up.
My Malachi Corley shares were already dead, but now they’re extra dead
I'm starting to think the Panthers made the right choice taking Bryce Young over CJ Stroud.
Brag - Shipped a GPP tonight
Beat - It was a multi-way tie in the $0.25 for $54.17. That same score in the $9 would've won $6.2k
Full PPR
I give: Barkley, Laporta
I get: Kupp, Achane, Jameson
Position wise it helps, as I have 3 startable TEs and cannot use them all.
Still, feels like it's too much to give up. Thoughts?
I think you win that one.
Achane = Barkely
Kupp + Jamo > LaPorta, especially if you have 2 other startable TEs.

Jameson the QB or WR?
Seems like Barkley/Achane is flat with a decent argument Achane>Barkley taking injuries out. Kupp an upgrade is you need WR help.
Seems reasonable to me depending on your WR's
Kupp also has some additional upside right now with the new Puka injury uncertainty.
strange McBride is at 7% w no TDs this season
i must be misinterpreting something
Yup, recovered in w2.
His game is so weird. Dude is a target and PPR monster, but he just doesn't find the end zone. 4 career receiving NFL TDs on 201 targets and 152 receptions.
Even in college, he didn't score much. He had 10 receiving TDs on 164 receptions and only 1 receiving TD his last season when he caught 90 balls. Technically, he had 2 TDs that last season. He had 1 rushing attempt for 69 yards and a TD lol.
I am. Keep in mind I am just starting to think this. I've seen many times when a QB has a good rookie year and then defenses catch up to him and it doesn't go so well. Remember Davis Mills? In small sample sizes I think players aren't as good or as bad as we have seen up to this point. Stroud has not looked good to me this whole year even with Nico. He looks slow running the ball. I kind of liked what I saw from Bryce in the Bronco game. I think he is in a tough situation to start his career and I feel like he will get it going at some point. I would still take Stroud over him but I don't like petite QB's. It will be interesting to see what happens if Carolina puts a team around Bryce or they ship him to another team. I don't think he'll ever be a star but he could have a Geno like career. Stroud has a higher ceiling but I have a feeling they will end up being about the same. So much goes into a QB's surroundings. I think Caleb will follow the Lawrence arc. He'll leave you wanting more. The Bears need to clean house with their coaches/executives etc. Caleb has no chance with this Bears staff. Bo Nix has landed in a perfect spot with fantastic coaching. Unfortunately, he has very little talent surrounding him. The fact that he is thriving here is impressive.
Citing Davis Mills is hilarious and ironic.
