PokerDrafts - First ever real money DFS site on poker tournaments.

We have great news for you. We, the PokerDrafts team (pokerdrafts.com), are pleased to announce the launch of the first-of-its-kind daily fantasy draft (DFS) site for poker, offering users the opportunity to participate in daily fantasy draft tournaments based on both offline poker tournaments and the tournament grids of leading online poker rooms.

Poker fantasy draft enthusiasts no longer need to wait for rare events like the high buy-ins of the 25k Fantasy Draft associated with the WSOP once per year. Gone are the days of scouring poker forums in the hope of finding a few fellow enthusiasts to participate in makeshift events, often managed with untrusted payment methods and tracked in Excel.

Although these rare opportunities existed, they were only available in lengthy, series-based formats like the Negreanu Draft. We are the first to introduce "easy to start" daily fantasy sports contests and pioneers in bringing this entire concept to online poker tournaments across various online poker rooms.

With PokerDrafts, poker fantasy lovers now have the opportunity to participate in various tournaments with different structures and game mechanics literally every day.
Moreover, the range of buy-ins for participation is truly diverse and suitable for every user. Amateur and beginner players can enjoy and immerse themselves in the game starting from micro-limits (tournaments from $2), while more experienced users can find buy-ins for mid and high stakes.

We will also hold weekly freerolls with guaranteed prize pools for new users.

The site offers both real money and play money contests. While real money contests aren't yet available to users in the USA, we encourage you to give it a try, as our future major goal is to bring real money poker DFS to the USA market as well.

The main lobby of the site displays a list of fantasy draft tournaments available for registration, divided into Online and Offline tabs.

We believe that we have implemented a convenient and intuitive interface with easy navigation. Additional filters or a search field can be used to simplify finding tournaments.
In our lobby, you can find draft tournaments for the most significant and major poker tournaments happening daily. We carefully compose the contests schedule based on the largest and most interesting tournaments every day.

Draft tournaments themselves are based not only on Hold'em events but also cover a wide range of poker variants according to current poker events, making it ideal for fans of Omaha, mixed games, and other poker variations.

Tournaments are divided into four modes depending on the poker fantasy team drafting mechanics:

Selection - A simple player selection where the poker player's cost attribute is absent, making it ideal for beginners or those who want to create an arbitrary team without considering the cost of each player.

Ranking - A mode similar to the Selection except poker players have their pricing where users need to create a fantasy team based on a total cost limit of 100 points according to the cost of each player.

Ranking "Ongoing" - A mode similar to Ranking, with the distinction that the cost of poker players is based not only on the player's historical performance rating but also on the stack size in a specific tournament. This format is applicable for multi-day tournaments during breaks between game days. Ideal for the advanced and most entertaining drafting.

Final table - This mode is also applicable for tournaments that have paused before the final table. The mechanic involves correctly positioning players according to the user's forecast of the final table outcome. After completion, priority is given to those users who correctly predicted the most actual places the poker players would occupy after the tournament. In case of the same number of correct predictions, priority is given to the user's draft whose places are closer to the first place (since correctly predicting the winner is always the most statistically challenging event).

The number of slots available for filling may generally differ and depends on the number of players remaining in the poker tournament. The maximum available final player cost is also capped depending on the number of poker players in the tournament.

• 5 Slots: Max Price is 35

We would like to highlight the fact that our team includes professional mathematicians who spent considerable time and drank more than one cup of coffee to ensure that the formula for the final valuation of players especially in Ongoing tournaments is perfectly balanced concerning the total number of poker players remaining in the tournament and the number of slots required to be filled.

The formula works to avoid imbalance by selecting players only from the top of the overall list, thus implementing the maximum diversity and combinatorics of poker fantasy teams.

We have also balanced the formula for point distribution, which poker players receive depending on their final place in the prize zone. For comparison, the annual Negreanu 25k Fantasy Draft offers a point distribution format that, in our opinion, undervalues points for minimum cash and has a rather limited "ladder" structure for distributing points earned by poker players for making it into the money.

Our formula is based on a more balanced and smoother point distribution that simultaneously rewards positions close to the final table and the final table itself, while also allowing players on your draft team who placed more modestly to earn enough points.

To collect player statistics both online and offline, we use all available open information sources, ensuring high data accuracy.

During the first phase of the launch, users will primarily be able to make deposits using crypto and fiat-to-crypto methods, such as Binance, along with selected local payment providers for specific regions. In the future, we are planing to implement additional, more common payment methods for your ease.

Our site is optimized and adapted to fit any device, allowing you to enjoy the game even from your mobile phone.

The planned release date for site registration and when users can start participating in poker fantasy is late August. The site is currently undergoing final pre-launch testing.
