TPTK facing triple barrel after multiway pre-flop

TPTK facing triple barrel after multiway pre-flop

Stakes 1 / 2 NL 8max Cash Live
Hero: new to live poker and this table in particular, which others probably sensed; tight preflop
Villain: appeared more on the aggressive, confident side but not much history; age 38-48; acted pretty quickly

* SEAT DRAW *
SB: Hero hide AdQc stack ~200
UTG: Villain stack ~200
6 other players

* PREFLOP *
Hero: post SB 1
BB: post BB 2
UTG Villain: raise 7
MP: call 7
LJ, HJ, CO, BU: fold
Hero: call 7
BB: call 7

* FLOP * Qh7h2d pot 28
Hero: check
BB: check
Villain: bet 25
MP: fold
Hero: call 25
BB: fold

Villain bets into 4 opponents so I give him some credibility; I assume TP or better, FD or occassionally OC as bluffs

* TURN * Qh7h2d9c pot 78
Hero: check
Villain: bet 50
Hero: call 50

My perceived range at this point should be pretty much Qx plus some FDs

* RIVER * Qh7h2d9c4s pot 178
Hero: check
Villain: raise all-in 118
Hero: ???

You have to call here. You have an aggro villain and your hand is way under repped since you never raised. Plus all the draws bricked out.

Since this is live poker, if he's a capable villain he might even have worse than you hes shoving for value.

Call river and expect to be good most of the time. Occasionally, we're chopping with AQ or will run into a set w/ 77, and even less frequently QQ.

Aggro V, our hand is fairly well disguised, having never raised, and the draws bricked. I'm not stoked about it because most 1-2 players don't bluff often enough, but I think we have to call here.

How bad is it that I sort of want to raise flop here? I know we have bb behind us, but there are plenty of draws out there that will call.

Thanks @YanasaurBBQ, @Donat3llo

@Donat3llo: I have ~51.5% equity with AQo against a reasonably tight UTG RFI range so calling might be better. If I knew villain plays substantially looser it might be a different of course.

I'd probably 3B pre or check raise flop. As played, we're just bluff catching OOP. Have to call now, not really sure if we're good often enough to feel great about it.

Prefer to 3b preflop against described V from sb.

Flop: V's sizing seems weird to me. I'd be mixing in some xr here as Docvail suggests.

Turn: V's sizing again seems too large. He's setting up a spot where he's going to give H decent odds to call any river.

River: H gets 5-2 to call and we cannot fold. Obviously V can have some AA/KK here. But he has chops and some KQ too. I think its' the right price but it's hardly a fist-pump call. I'm not sure our hand is under-repped. I think we rep exactly TPGK and V dgaf and jams anyway.
