help with profile creation and making easier posts
Can anyone please tell me how to add a profile pic?
also I see others using pics of the suits instead of spelling or abbreviating them. How do you do this?

For the avatar, click My 2p2 and Edit Avatar should be in the dropdown menu. The pic you use will have to be resized, I think to 80x80 pixels.
For the suits, you may have to enable Enhanced Interface in the Edit Options selection from the same drop down menu as above. Then you will get a smiley face button when you're using the Post Reply option. It doesn't show up in the default text box at the bottom of the page, only once you've hit the Post Reply button. The suits are in the smiley/emoji dropdown menu. Or you can just quote this post and it will show you in the text box what was used to make these suits show up and you can just type it in:

I'm not sure if any of this applies if you are using the new forum format. Pretty sure that doesn't allow avatars yet, but I guess if you're seeing others have avatars you must be on the old site.
