I am a literal legend of gambling, ask me anything.
What im doing is a gift to this dead site but they will probably lock the thread since they want no traffic or interest.
Hey limon, I've been reading your posts for a couple of hours and I'm really entertained and learned a Lot. I think you are the right person to ask this since we have a very similar personality.
Playing poker for 12 years, became full time profesional 5 years ago on private games on south america from NL200 to NL1000, have kept track of my results for years. The problem is that I degened all my bankroll in parties/women/alcohol/gambling. I became sober year and a half ago and I'm rid of bad habit
if youre young and have a roll and just want to play poker prob sort of fun to just chase card room openings around. when a new card room opens games are amazing fro a while, maybe a year or more. i think games are still great in texas. games are complete shyt in los angeles and vegas at "real" stakes (5-10nl and above), i know that.
Trump should appoint Limon as internet gambling czar to help retire the national debt.
I just asked your mom if she thought I came off as douche and she said no. So I guess it’s just you. (Hint: me and your mom are fuqqing).

Slightly amusing to read. I'm not a hater though. I just pointed out something quite obvious. Success alone doesn't give you carte blanche to be arrogant and not get called out on it. I think you lack the charisma to get away with all your hubris. Anyway you're an interesting character.

It's like he went to the Trump school of how to respond to mild criticism.

i don't take criticism from anyone i wouldn't take advice from. and i dont take advice from complete ****ing nobody ****s, even if their mom is ****ing me. now show yourself out of daddy's thread and back into your childhood bedroom.
Limon, what is your (level-headed) take on the state of the Democratic Party? What has gone wrong?
I have heard they need to shift more moderate, they need to shift more left, they need a populist, democracy is rigged because voters are too stupid, etc.
I think Harris's campaign was awful:
Biden should never ever ever have been allowed to run a second term. He wasted most of the campaign time on himself and only dropped out by force under the condition that he hand picks Kamala. Kamala is a weak candidate without much charisma and would have never won an actual primary. The wild enthusiasm after the switch was entirely because the Democrats went from 5% equity to 40%, and had absolutely nothing to do with Kamala as a person.
Kamala fails to give even one concrete example of how she would differ from Biden, a horrible strategy when everybody already hates Biden. She babbles incoherently sometimes. She forfeits the entire young male vote voluntarily, letting her opponents lay out a one-sided argument on podcasts that tens of millions listen to.
Walz added absolutely nothing to her chances. He lost the VP debate. He was only picked for soundbites on cable news and then suddenly stopped making public appearances. Luckily it was a blowout and she didn't look immortally stupid for passing on Shapiro and losing PA in a closer race.
What do you make of the messaging around social issues? That certainly is losing the Dems millions of votes but I can't see someone actually taking a stand against wokeism and trans stuff and succeeding within the party. The core economic goals of the Dems are drowned out by endless attacks of far-left social ideas.
I voted Harris if that wasn't obvious

if you spend any time hanging out in male dominated environments (casino, country club, etc) you know that a democratic woman is never gonna be president, even california men, who are generally liberal by national standards, were more than happy to openly refer to her as a "dumb bitch" or whatever. Dems have no problems really, biden won easily, they just need to push candidates that guys can defend without looking like pussys. its sad but true. most men are extremely fragile, FOLLOWERS. The amount of courage it takes to defend a woman, even against a convicted felon scam artist, is beyond most weak men. So the echo chamber, basically among all groups of men, was extremely anti kamala the same as it was for hillary, literally exactly the same. even though all the policies of biden and obama, who won easily, were exactly the same, in every way, as hillary and kamala. All that said, the world macro environment agains incumbents in the face of inflation caused by the crazy stimulus of supposed republicans during the pandemic, was likely overwhelming. Post pandemic incumbents were shellacked around the globe regardless of whether the were conservative or liberal.
i think that's a bad take, the problem with kamala wasn't that she was a a democratic woman, it's that she was an unlikable person of below average intelligence deeply tied to a presidency that was so unlikable the party had a last minute coup to replace him
this is a really good take on it imo

a guy, the most powerful man on earth, who could do anything he ****ing wants. resigning of his own free will isn't a last minute coup by any known definition. i will ignore everything you put forward as it is likely equally as moronic.
at least listen to sam harris and then tell him how dumb he is as well afterwards

They need to lower the voting age to 12.
Limon (and mrs. limon) can cook. Muscovy duck for the win. Happy 74 degree thanksgiving from bright blue Los Angeles!
It is not disputable that he was pressured intensely to resign against his will. Two weeks before he dropped out, he made it crystal clear on national TV that "Only the Lord Almighty" could convince him to quit. He doubled, tripled, and quadrupled down on this right up until he gave in.
BTW this was a good move by the Dems given the situation at that point.
The Dems' mistake was being too loyal to Biden. I guess he attained a god father-like status over his 50 years in Washington.
If they primaried him, then someone like Josh Shapiro would've crushed Trump getting 60%+ of the popular vote. Trump was a very weak candidate, but Harris and a senile Biden were worse.

who cares about pressure? many incumbents are pressured, many face primary challenges. they make the decision they want. period. he thought he was helping the country by turning it over to someone younger and more energetic. there is ZERO evidence to the contrary to support a "coup" argument.
meshanti, it's time to put up or exit this conversation.. Make a bet with Limon or let it go. Any additional posts that don't include accepting a wager will be left deleted.

this is unfair because it's clearly a subjective definition and without limon agreeing to set definitions beforehand, which meshanti is attempting, there's no possibility of a wager
