I am a literal legend of gambling, ask me anything.
What im doing is a gift to this dead site but they will probably lock the thread since they want no traffic or interest.
thank you bot for protecting my eyes from the reply to that
Limon,
Just checking in on you. Those LA wildfires looking bad. Hopefully you and everyone you know is safe.

Thanks bud. It’s a mess. Embers flew into my yard and I had to put sprinklers on the roof. It was like a fire hurricane. Everything is busted up in the yard but ok.

I was just watching the NBC LA feed here in Michigan watching the hills burn and thought…oh **** hope Limon is alright.
Stay safe
if you had to do it all over again, including forgetting everything you know now about poker
would you
or would you consider its too hard to make a easy living, and would have put that much energy and effort into something else would have paid as much or more
after all, all the patience, set backs, learning, playing, around in a table with sometimes annoying people... is worth considering if you consider it somewhat a sort of a mistake in the grand scheme of things
I do am asking about money, but not entirely so, also the aspect of just doing something else, could pay less or more, but, its also doing something else, that would serve the world in a different manner, that would give different experiences... im sure sometimes you felt like I did some time in your life, sat a a table full of *******s that you wouldnt hang out with otherwise, look at trashy cards for a while and thought wtf am I doing here is this even what I wanna donwith this shooting star of a life
Great post as always Limon.
Two scenarios for you:
Grinding graveyard and all the kiosks to cash vouchers are offline. Go to the cashier window and one of the cashiers is a scumbag Buffalo camper with her husband/brother/whatever. They are the campers that sit close and stare at slots zombies to make it so awkward that the square leaves. Do you alert management or let them be?
Standing in line at the casino to get your ID checked to make sure you aren’t a card counter, you see multiple slots hustlers that are scum campers with invalid ID that are waved through. A friend of a friend of a friend has admin connections, do you put out the distress signal and get an ICE agent sent there? But you have a lucrative job offer pending on the other side of the aisle and it could hurt your rep. For simplicity, let’s say the pay raise is equal to what you would make at the casino if you snitched out the hustlers and the hit to your rep might be enough to disqualify you from future jobs even if you get the current offer.
Hello, I have what may be a silly question.
How do bakers and poker schools declare their money?
Couldn't they have problems sending so much money from their skrill or something to the players account? Either when sending the money to play, or when splitting profits?
Imagine winning 50k and splitting 50/50, you send the 25k by skrill and the baker can just withdrawit and buy a car with that money?
Couldn't the government or the bank ask why is that money and u have to pay taxes?
You know, I'm going to take with me the first and last page of this thread. I just logged on ago and read the first page first by accident, and was astonished at what I was reading. I flipped to the last page, and again it seemed there has been some kind of metamorphosis of ... something. And I thought "maybe, maybe ... nah."

yes, you have to declare the money, yes the government will track you down if you hare hiding large amounts of money. "luckily" for tournament "pros" and their backers they nearly all go broke sooner or later so the government has nothing to take from them.

i have no clue what you could be talking about.
Limon do you think time travel will ever be a thing
in a way. the "one-electron universe" hypothesis already provides a framework for the "fuzziness" at the edge of time. everything in the real world can basically be explained in probabilities. A quantum computer in the future could likely show you, with great accuracy, what would happen in a certain instance, many hours forward or rewind many hours backward with a very high probability (nearly 100%) of being correct.
When do you think was the golden era for online poker? do you think with so much information and wisdom available, the definition of fish has changed and the average beginner is much more informed than before. Has the game become a total Math/science as compared to the art it once was.

The first online poker site i signed up on (so long ago now i forget name) you could order "virtual" drinks at the table and tip the dealer. thats how good the ****ing games were...lolololol. Then came the "party" era which was literally printing money, it was insane, cheating was rampant an obvious but it made no difference the games were so good. that was the "golden era", the day party went down it ended. clear demarcation line. poker was exactly like finding a giant gold strike. the first people there just pick up giant nuggets off the ground and a decade later the people left are using giant machines to sift through metric tons of dirt for the same one nugget.
RIP David Lynch. Mulholland Dr maybe the GOAT movie.
