Best way to continue blitz
Can you find the best move on this 43 for white? What is your reasoning?

Just had a similar position, so I post also this one. Can you find the best move?
I believe IÂ’ve read that your priorities in a blitz generally are
1. Make a new home board point.
2. Hit a checker off your home board to prevent anchoring
3. Bring more ammo into play.
4. Hitting outfield blots
In the first position those priorities lead us to either 13/10 8/4 or 13/9 7/4. The first of these gives us 2s and 5s to hit loose (assuming opponent doesnÂ’t anchor). The second gives us 3s and 4s. Both allow 11 to be played as a switch with 6/5(2). The first also gives us 41 as a loose hitting roll for 23 combos that hit the blot. The second adds 21 and 22 for 24 combos, so 13/9 7/4 is my choice.
Second position similar. We either have 6/1 10/7 or 10/5 4/1. We either have 2s and 3s or 1s and 4s aimed at the three point. It seems less relevant which here though since 22 can switch if opponent enters and stays on the 3. You thus have the same hitting combos either way. IÂ’d go with 10/5 4/1 just because there might be value later in with having spares on the 5 or 6, but IÂ’m really not sure between these two.
Sorry, I forgot to tell the score, it was 3-point match and the score was 0-0 in both situations. So in both cases we really want to finish opponent with the gammon.
You were right for the first position. The best play is 13/9 7/4. I was really not thinking about more hitting numbers, so good that you pointed that out. But also, in this kind of blitzing situations our main goal is to try to close our home board fast. And 13/9 7/4 gives us 3 good rolls next time - 43 and also 44, while 13/10 8/4 gives us just 52 to close the home board. Well nevertheless I made a blunder by moving the back checker (even the worse one):
In the second position you didn't find the best move. I played also 10/5 4/1 as you suggested. And after I looked at first position I thought to myself that second position must be similar. And I thought I have learned something. Well I didn't make such an error, but I was still wrong. In the second position is the best to move the back checker 23/18 4/1. Probably it is just because 44 is such a crunching number.
So, lets say the main lessons in this kind of positions are: try to make the home board as fast as possible and be aware of crunching numbers.
