PLO 3bet Heuristicss

I'm new to PLO, in his course "Advanced PLO Mastery" Chris Wehner gives heuristics for 3bet range IP, I need help to understand the difference between 'Disconnected' Axxx and 'Connected' Axxx in order to don't 3bet too much.
