Dealing with rude/abusive players in live games....
I am curious how you live players deal with opponents who talk trash or flaunt their wins. It drives me crazy. I am also stunned at how most casino's don't seem to really police this too much. They seem to tolerate loud, cursing and abusive players. I've seen players get in others faces and other players complain to security/management, but nothing ever gets done. You would also think the dealers might say something, but it seems they usually like to stay out of it. So, it's up to you to fend for yourself and it's kind of a lonely feeling.
I have noticed that most of these type of jerks are usually terrible players who suck out. The outstanding players don't have to resort to this garbage. They sit quietly and play their game. I am not sure if the loud/rude players are just trying to throw you off your game or whether they're actually drunk. I suppose some might consider it a cheap strategy, in a sense, but it's annoying as hell.
Also, do any of you talk back when an opponent talks smack? One opponent the other day actually got up of his seat and started dancing and kind of yelling/taunting after winning a big pot against me. I wanted to smack him. I know the best revenge is to beat them on the table, but that doesn't always happen.
Strategies?

The only thing I say to rude 1/2 players is: The rudest poker players are at 1/2 low stakes games, look it up on search engines. that is all I say to them. But if they continue to be rude, I say: because they love money too much. usually shuts them up. Enjoy the game win or lose.
Good luck Poker players.
