Pokerstars paying equity when allin

Hello,

I would like to ask, is that normal that on Texas Hold'em NL5 6max when I got allin 100BB vs 100BB AA vs KK preflop and asked for paying equity, after the hand I had only 155BB? How do they calculate it?

I am assuming you are asking about insurance/cashout feature and if so then you get paid the equity of your hand at allin minus a fee the site charges, AAs equity vs KK is nearly 82% so would be 164BB or so. The rest is the fee they charge for insurance.

If you can't handle that variance then step down to play money
