If your emphasis is on discussing anything, you would probably do better on the News, Views, and Gossip forum. If your emphasis is on discussing your book, then you should probably stay here. But given that your book is 19 years old, unless it's something very special, I think your emphasis should be on discussing anything.

Thanks for the tip, Mason!

"CARDS" was out of print for many years. It just became available again at Amazon.com (newly formatted with no misspellings!)

I am motivated to continue this book's propagation because it deserves to endure. I have written at least one bad book, and I don't propagate it because that would be immoral.

CARDS has invariably received praise-- many attest, both on this forum and at Amazon.com, that this is their favorite poker novel. I believe this is mostly because of the writing itself-- the actual fabric of the composition is very high quality.

It should be noted that it may be poor decorum to self-promote. If the work merits promotion, then I disagree with the previous sentence. Life is a difficult place-- if your work merits support, yet you wont support your own work, then others wont believe your work is worth supporting; and thus, no one will support your work, and it will fail. This is a tragedy for everyone.

So I am here to both support my work, and hopefully add to the richness of the forum by providing interesting responses-- a true win-win.

And congratulations on the enduring true success of the forum, Mason! I don't see ads, so I don't know how/why you spend resources on it. I don't need to know. It's a fun place to be.
