Bitcoins - digital currency
Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer digital currency. Peer-to-peer (P2P) means that there is no central authority to issue new money or keep track of transactions. Instead, these tasks are managed collectively by the nodes of the network. Advantages:
- Bitcoins can be sent easily through the Internet, without having to trust middlemen.
- Transactions are designed to be computationally prohibitive to reverse.
- Be safe from instability caused by fractional reserve banking and central banks. The limited inflation of the Bitcoin system’s money supply is distributed evenly (by CPU power) throughout the network, not monopolized by banks.
Total size 5,811,700 BTC
or 4,585,431 USD
or 3,545,137 EUR
or 133,094,323 RUB
or 3,849 ounces of gold
Any value to this idea or will it never work?
Rly close to ATH.
Kinda looks like this is going to continue upward too.
Oh it's definitely up and to the right... over the next 300-500 days.
My prediction of 80-150k high range feels a bit on the low side given all this immediate price action... Guess we'll see.
yesterday at the blackjack tables a bunch of contractors were all talking about buying bitcoin and making hundreds of thousands
feels like a sell signal

Generally a truism... however, I don't think that applies this time around and at this point in the cycle. There is just to much sovereign and business capital that has yet to come into the space. Not all of it will go into BTC.
Grimstar grimming himself feels like a buy signal.
Maybe lot of you knew about it but I didn’t …
If only I knew about it I would have bought at that time …
https://www.ccn.com/news/fidelity-all-in...
Fidelity Investments Canada has incorporated a 1-3% Bitcoin allocation into its “All-in-One” asset allocation funds, which include spot Bitcoin ETFs.
The strategic allocation of the Fidelity All-in-One Conservative ETF (FCNS) is designed to offer a balanced investment approach with a mix of approximately 40% equities and 59% fixed-income ETFs, now with an added 1% in cryptocurrencies.
If that’s the beginning of a trend …,,
ATH this week methinks
I can’t imagine selling right now. Even if a pullback is coming, it’s clear we are headed to 100k+pretty quickly.
Certainly starting to feel euphoric.
The consensus opinion on what is driving this has to be the ETF, right?
After that what would come 2nd....general market frothiness in high beta assets or the halving?
so etf then 1 of those 2 in order?
A friend asked and my answer was basically
1) ETFs
2) Upcoming halving
3) Continued psychological acceptance by bigger parts of the world of new financial systems
4) FOMO
$66,666.66 has to be a resistance level, right?
70k is even though it's in the price discovery area
...
$69,420 is going to be a tough hump to get over
What are everyone's conservative and bullish predictions for this bull run's peak?
I'm thinking 120k conservative 180k bullish
Does anyone have a take on MSTR? I know they bought a ton of BTC at avg of 30k but don't really understand why it goes up multiples more than BTC does.
Are their other businesses real? I just know Saylor is a billionaire now but he seems like a bit of a huckster.
not a single normie friend has asked me about bitcoin. if you asked the average person the price that doesn’t follow it closely they’ll probably tell you 20-30k.
the cycle top is impossible to predict at this point because nobody knows what the future demand over the next 12-18 months looks like and any step-change in demand by big players will render prior estimates useless.
that said, i’ll say 200-250k top.
Bitcoin isn’t in the news much compare to the last time it was at that price ….
And when u look at gold , stock market etc .
They all at all time high or close and keep going up .
Don’t seem bitcoin pullback is near imho
I'd be happy if Bitcoin reached $1 million but it probably doesn't have the balls.
