TSLA showing cracks?
With TSLA going in the past few days from 130 to 110 and now back up to 120, it seems the market is a bit on edge about this stock. They report earnings on the 23rd, and with the incredible run up it's had in the past 3 months (40-->120) I get the feeling that if they don't blow people away this stock has the potential to crack pretty violently.
With articles coming every day for and against TSLA, I generally believe it to be vastly overblown stock. They are never going to be able to sell enough cars at $80k to be extremely profitable, and 5 years is a long time to wait with no profits for the time they supposedly have a $40k model that will ready for mainstream.
Thoughts?
At the recent World Robot Conference in Beijing, myriad companies showed up with bots in tow. Robots were making food, playing instruments, even challenging kids at board games. Tesla, however, did nothing of the sort — instead leaving Optimus trapped behind glass.

per WSJ elon's now pitching TSLA sharing half its future FSD revenue with xAI... you know, the private company elon spun up and diverted all the NVDA chips to saying TSLA didn't need them.

Yes, I believe this to be true. The person seemed to stumble on some of their words/phrasing.
In my assumption, the plan is to remotely operate these robots using starlink from other countries. Pretty creative way to import cheap labor, so, credit to them (I guess).
So you know, your "AI" bartender could decide they don't like you and throw a drink in your face, or worse.
Worse? You can have someone use the robot to do some pretty nefarious things.
Stock should bounce back. It's hard for it not to since so many retirement funds have TSLA in their portfolios.

TSLA is a mirror shattered into 400,000,000 pieces and each shard is reflecting an AI-generated, hyperbolic image of Elon's mug.
But yeah, AI police and lethal bots are closer than "on the horizon".

President Joe Biden issued an executive order on Tuesday to accelerate the construction of large-scale data centers and clean power infrastructure for artificial intelligence (AI) on federal sites.
Biden, whose presidency will end when President-elect Donald Trump takes office on Jan. 20, said the order will direct the Defense Department (DOD) and Energy Department (DOE) to lease federal sites to the private sector for building AI infrastructure.
I don't think it takes too much effort to read between the lines there.
For people in the thread holding TSLA, are you not concerned about the crazy stupid stuff Elon posts on X? Like about the man rescuing those children being a peedo just because he didn't want to use Elons toy? Or about how King Charles should overthrow the British government? I used to really like Elon, and whenever I watched his interviews thought he was bright. But recently he seems to have just gone a bit mad posting on X, it's like he sits at home and gets high and posts a bunch of stupid ****. I can't see Trump and Elon being friends forever, their egos are too big, and when the fallout happens, RIP government handouts. TSLA is already the most overvalued company in history? Very likely we see a titanic drop at some point.

He has had a crazy life and he definitely will say some crazy stuff. But that is out of the 100's and 1000's of posts he sends out.

Kinda analogous to the Segway owner riding his product off a cliff to his death, Elon, an owner of one of the top Social Media sites, is showing signs of mental decay perhaps due to consuming his own product.

IIRC the stock has 10 bagged since the whole "Cave pedo" and "funding secured" drama ( and lot's of other stuff). So no people don't care and if Tesla ever does drop a lot it won't be beacuse of Elon's behaviour.

Have you seen some of the BYD products? I think they look great.
If not for the tariffs, BYD would be dominating the US market too.
