What has been your experience at over seas poker rooms!
Im going to Colombia in two weeks (Bogotá) and I plan on trying out a card room down there. The reviews are mixed at best including a scathing review about how people are colluding against the tourists (not really a surprise tbh and well within expectations).
But what has been your experience? Obviously it depends on where you were and who you were with but let us know how it went

What is happening us that at the end of 2020 they banned slots everywhere in Prague. They could only finish their 3-year licence, so starting 2024 no slots in casinos in Prague - many venues need to rethink their business model, including Rebuy Stars.
I have a thread about rebuy Stars in the Venues Forum (here is a link to it)
If you get info about Rebuy Stars, like if they officially stopped having poker tournaments or if they moved their tournaments to a location close to Prague just not in Prague please let us know!
One review mentioning collusion would not make me avoid a poker room but it would make me more cautious. More than one I might stay away.
When I was in Barcelona I saw locals playing different when a drunk tourist was in the hand, but I don't think it was collusion. I suspect they had just spent so much time playing against each other that they had kind of given up. It's hard to get value from someone who knows what you have, so the only time money is up for grabs is when someone new comes in. When the tourist was in the hand they kept raising to isolate. This left the drunk feeling like he was being picked on - he's constantly getting 3 bet and floated while nobody else was.
Also hearing people speak a language you don't understand tends to make people suspicious.
Or, they could actually be working as a team signalling and splitting the profits after.
It's really hard to say. I've played in several countries and the average shadiness level has been pretty much the same as the US. The only real problem I've run into is with staff not understanding rules as well, especially in places where poker only runs on certain days/times or during the busy season.
