Will Caesars (Las Vegas) poker room open again (or not)?

They said room was needed for high limit slots room renovation back on 8/03/24, poker room closed. Said this will take until appr mid November, and poker would resume. Well, here we are. No movement or word of anything at all. Nobody knows anything. Has anybody heard if or when we can play there again?

Is the high limit slots Reno done? I recall it got a late start.

When I was there back in Oct it appeared like the plan was to reopen. It never know till we know.

The story when I was in Vegas a week ago (from a former Caesar's dealer) is that the poker room will reopen in a different location. No word on when.

In a Facebook-group I am a member of, many people seem optimistic that it will return shortly. Here are some of the comments:

- "Reopening sometime after F1."
- "It's opening in November right ahead of the F1 race."
- "It's set to open November 22, from what I heard."
- "I heard from a dealer that they received word from higher-ups that they are reopening mid-Nov."

So I guess the word on the street is that it will reopen soon; either just before or just after F1. Let us hope that these rumors are correct.

Damn right, I've had some hilarious times in Caesar's over the years. Would love it to be open in time for my December trip.

It's sad enough that so many of the smaller rooms have shut down, but CP would be the biggest yet, in recent history at least. I suppose Planet Hollywood has been the largest room to close so far.

I like Caesar’s also. Room had a good vibe to it and soft games with good tourist traffic. Hopefully if they move location it won’t be put in a remote spot.

I thought the Caesars room was known for being full of promo chasers and having the tightest games on the strip. It's been years, but the few times I played there the games were not very good.

There were no promos but many were grinding tier credits since it was 34 vs 17 an hour and $2 vs $1 at other CET properties.

I almost never found a good game there.

So, basically, no one in this thread so far,or their cited sources, as any f**king clue ?

Bingo

The following information is from James Tobiasz, head of Caesars Poker room:

In theory, assuming the work gets done as projected, the room is suppose to re-open on January 15th. It is being constructed in the hallway where the statue of David is. The east end of that hallway, right before you get to the casino, previously held several retail shops. That is where it is going to be.
