How Many Consulting 2300s = a 2600?
Lets say three hours thought and conversations per move. We were sort of discussing it on the politics forum. I'm unqualified to have an opinion but I am guessing about 100. (Assuming no help from books or computers. Also lets specify that after the three hours of debate the 2300s pick the move via majority vote.)

As it stands, a 400 point rating difference corresponds to 10 times greater expected points. This means when one player is 400 points higher rated, they are expected to score about 90%. (It’s only “about” 90% because it’s a ratio, not a percentage. A 400 point rating advantage translates into a 10:1 advantage in expected points. Converted to a fraction that’s 10 / (10 + 1) = 91%.) Similarly, a 200 point rating advantage implies about a 3:1 advantage in expected points, or close to 75%.
How many politics are needed to make the right decisions?
When it comes to lower levels where the better results come more from making less mistakes rather than making better moves, it would be significant.
Similar to where stuff is being checked through more than once or twice.
