A guy at my club was known for sometimes playing the Grob. He never played it against me in a long game, but he did try it in a blitz tournament. The game went 1.g4 c6 2.f4 e5 3.f5 Qh4#. After the final move he exclaimed "That's the second time I did that!"

The amount of times black plays Nf6 . So you just play g5 and they look stupid. haha

No, it's really not.

It's aesthetically ugly, I know that.

e4. Best by test.

No, it's really not.

If you're serious about chess then no. If you're just a club player or fun player then yes it's great. Also good at lower time limits.

People who play g4 probably also limp most of their hands

You can get the same 'busting people's prep' effect you get with the Grob, simply by learning sidelines of more sound openings.

I played the London a bit but hated it because so many people prep against it.

I would have thought they raise blind.
