I'm looking for players to do database analysis for. My main strengths are being able to identify leaks accurately and offer solutions to fix the leaks in your game. Long term I'd love to collaborate with others but I tend to like to get to know other people first before I coach them. Coaching starts at $80/hr.
Below is my recent zoom sample whilst grinding loot boxes and going for select:
I have been playing poker on and off since 2008 so have seen many different eras of poker. Fortunately, my strategy has evolved over time. I give pragmatic and tailor made advice relative to the pools that you currently play in. I do not expect you to play like me nor do I blanket teach the same concepts as I would others. In coaching I tend to expand into more generalised concepts such as playing against recreationals, multi way pots and block betting.

After almost dying twice in the last 5 years from long covid and then a brain cyst, I have eventually decided that family is more important than playing consistently for a living. I still want to engage and interact with the community in a positive way wherever possible. Have worked with Andy since end of last year when I was stuck at 10nl, and improved enough slowly to move up to 25 and crush. Then moved over to a geo fenced game and rocketed up to 100nl. Did a couple of database reviews early on to fix a lot of glaring problems, and then later when I was struggling with 50nl. Really appreciate his coaching and helping me find some success in poker because I was stuck for a long time at 10nl and didn't know how to proceed.
I've worked with a CFP previously and was at first hesitant with coaching but took some of my 10nl winnings to get database review and heuristics sheets, and it paid itself off very quickly, I improved a lot so I am very happy with the investment in coaching.

Currently I'm interested in RNC as it is the future of poker (in part). GG is getting a market share equivalent to what Stars had 10-15 years ago. I guess that more rake is indeed better

How big a sample do you want for a database review?
I’m beginning to trial 1 to 1 coaching/ analysis long term with students on a coaching for profit basis: I’m looking for 30% during the time in which we work together.
There’ll be a stage prior where I send you a bunch of materials to learn/ study from before we do anything formal. I prefer people who ask questions actively and have a willingness to learn over someone who is better technically and doesn’t want to learn anything.
Don’t contact me if you’re not willing to do this, I won’t be putting money up either as I have had many many bad experiences in doing so. People change when they play on someone else’s money and I have enough illness to deal with all of that right now.
It’s not to say I’ll be demanding often to do x or y, I’m open to back and forth conversations and starting where you’re currently at and seeing how it goes.

Do you load our hands into a replayer and comment on specific hands?
I more holistically go through everything you do and how you could improve relative to what the players around you are doing and teaching you how you should respond to that.
Personally I don’t find going through hands and talking about them very helpful as most people have leaks they can fix with study and assessment (myself included).

I just wonder, is this just only written and no additional video's to go over some spots.
That's the way I do it, both documentation and video content; so basically I wonder how much value I am able to get out of your written report. Aside from a different mind, it will stimulate ideas.

It’s a good question, I do have plenty of videos on specific spots as well as videos analysing specific pools for example GG Poker.
I can make a video for a specific database review if requested from me- if anything I might even prefer that these days than doing a write up as it allows me to get my point across better imo.

I’ve been trialling a new form of coaching out where I go through your database on a recording uploaded unlisted which goes through all the main leaks that I found. Alongside that I provide notes which describe the leaks that I found whilst going through your database.
If you’re wondering how this is different to my main service, the main differences are that it is cheaper (I’m currently charging £75 or $100 for it) and that it goes into less detail on your smaller leaks in writing.
This is designed for players who are stuck and just need someone to point out their leaks that they might not be aware with to get them back on the right track again. The videos explaining your leaks are typically 20-40 minutes long and will remain uploaded on YouTube unlisted.

I found this thread 2 weeks ago and got in contact with Andy.
Not sure what to expect, but for $100 I assumed it was worth a shot.
I'm currently playing 25NL on GGpoker, doing OK over a 150k hand sample winning 2.5bb/100 after rake.
Going in a little sceptical to be fair, because coaching in this price range was kind of disappointing in previous experiences (tried it like 3 times before, not the biggest sample but still).
An honest opinion, without any self-interest or anything. The feedback video I received exceeded my expectation by miles.
Spoiler alert: be warned, if you can't handle harsh feedback, don't even start.
Harsh/direct feedback yes, but spot on. Going from a quick global view of general pre-, and postflop stats, and how they translate into leaks, was not exaggerated eye opening. I don't really know how to explain it, but what really stood out for me, was how he showed how different leaks are interwoven, and keep popping up in different spots / part of the game tree.
I guess the way to explain best is, and I know it sounds cliché, but it makes me think about my game on a more fundamental level, and not just "your turn prob bet should be higher", or "you're defending not wide enough in these spots". Also only needing to show a few examples from my database in certain areas of the game tree, to really make me understand why I'm leaking in that spot, says for me a lot about the quality of the explanation.
It can go a bit up pace, the explaining part, at some points a little too fast for me to fully get the picture, but after watching the video again, and a 3rd time, things get more clear and clear. Not going to lie, it is tough material, but it's the type of work that has to be done to succeed at this game.
