I will analyze your PLO database
Hello all, this is Bocian, the Head Coach and the CEO of Pokerninjas.org.
Pokerninjas.org - the premium PLO stakin...
I used to play PLO for a living since 2006. I coach PLO for at least 16 years, used to be a Pokerstrategy.com Polish Division Head Coach for around 5 years, recorded more than 120 instructional videos back then. You can find me there by searching “MrBocian” in the Videos. I’ve spent countless hours teaching countless students how to play PLO and during the last 3-4 years I have successfully transitioned several good NLH players to beating high level, high stakes PLO. For the last 5 years I run the Pokerninjas.org PLO Stable and coach my players on regular basis. I don’t have much time to play myself, but as a personal challenge I decided to play 30k hands last year and the results were promising:
Brag: 30bb/100 EV adjusted over 20k hand...
This year I still haven’t play much, decided to test many games that I was unfamiliar with (double/triple boards, 6c hi/lo, high Ante games, high VPIP games, etc.) and also decided to check several hypothesis regarding some of those being virtually unbeatable. Some were indeed, some were not. But my graph due to tons of experimentation is much less pretty (still up, no worries) so I will keep it to myself.
I believe I’m currently an expert in HU-6max-9max 4c/5c/6c PLO, with double/triple board, high VPIP (50% and above) and high Ante (Ante=SB and above) excluded. I used to beat those games for a long time. I still play occasionally up to PLO2k on Apps.
In my Stable work I analyze our players’ databases on regular basis, probably at least 20-30 times a month. I believe this is the most efficient way to diagnose main leaks and set up paths for a player to improve. I like toying with numbers, finding correlations between various lines and stats or analyzing the population tendencies. I believe I’m extremely effective with this. I use mainly DriveHud2 and Excel plus various Solvers in my work.
I decided to offer the PLO database analysis for the players from outside the Stable as a way to challenge myself, gather some insightful data from outside the Apps environment and, obviously, help some players to improve quickly.
The rules:
1. I need at least 10k hands in your dbase for every type of game you want to get analyzed (e.g. 4c/5c/6c). 5k hands for HU. Preferably much more, but I’m working with small samples pretty often and it still works great. No worries.
2. The dbase needs to be in Drive Hud, Poker Tracker or Holdem Manager format. Raw hand histories should also be supported. I don’t work with Hand2Note.
3. The final analysis should be ready in around 1-5 workdays.
4. You’ll get around 1-1.5 Word pages of feedback.
5. For almost every leak found you’ll get some hand examples from your dbase with a description or a guide how to work on the problem or how the optimum value should look like.
6. You’ll also get some info on your current strengths.
7. I will not offer coaching sessions afterwards, I’m too busy for that, sorry.
8. The current price is $500 for an analysis and it will most likely be increased in the near future (or periodically) based on the demand. My time supply is finite. The $500 price will be valid for around 3-5 first assignments, I’ll see how it goes, will let you all know if anything changes.
9. Payment can be made via crypto, Skrill, Neteller or wire transfer. You pay in advance when I’m sure I can check your numbers (import went fine etc.).
10. If you are interested please contact me via Skype, my ID there is “bocian20002”.
So there’s that. Please note that I will most likely make some several week breaks in offering the dbase analysis when I’ll feel I have too little spare time for that. But currently I’m pretty excited for this kind of a new journey. Feel invited!

Hello guys, small update.
I decided to keep the price at $500, although I have already reached my assignments threshold. The price will stay at this level unless I'm overburdened. So far the demand is perfect for me, no need for changes.
Please note that I usually need around a week to complete the analysis. PokerNinjas.org related work usually has the priority here.
Decided to share some bits of my feedback so you have a better idea of how it looks like:

Enjoy!

Im interested. How many sessions is it? or is it just one session
It is not a coaching session. You send me a dbase, I analyse it and send you detailed written analysis results with hints on how to fix specific suboptimal aspects of your gameplan. And then if you have any questions, we can talk on the chat to put some more light on the results.

Is this only for 6max?
No, it's not only for 6max, I can analyse your stats for full ring and HU or shorthanded games as well.

Hello guys, after many, many months of being out of 2+2 I am finally ready to get back here.
My health and family misfortunes are gone for the most part and I should have a little bit more time to spend with this community, offering my services to you once again. I’m back to database analysis, on top of that I’m going to be available for some coaching sessions.
Database analysis price goes up to 555 USD per assignment and an hour long coaching session is priced at 222 USD currently (paid in crypto, via Skrill or wire transfer). The prices may go up in the future - depending on the demand. The prices will not change at least till the end of February. I should be able to assign around 6-12 hours per month for coaching sessions and process 2-4 databases on top of that.
I have several pending database analysis requests waiting for me in my 2+2 inbox. I will answer everyone tonight, if you are still interested, the price stays at 500 USD for you and then you will be moved to the start of the queue as soon as you answer. Other requests will be taken care of afterwards. I owe it to everyone I failed to answer while being off. Sorry about that.
In my work I use DriveHud2 (with custom stats), PLO Trainer, PLO Genius, PLO Vision, Grinders Vault 6c Calc, Odds Oracle, SnapMDA, PreflopWhiz and Excel. I also have access to Oranges Calculator Pro and Monker Solver with 256 GB of RAM, but I don’t use those. If you need to set up a simulation in Monker (4c only), you can contact me, I can make it happen for you. We will use some of these tools during our coaching sessions.
This is my current database:

I was able to keep double digit winrate EV adjusted despite having to pay 22bb/100 in rake and testing new formats for my Pokerninjas.org players (which was often pretty costly for me).
When we exclude some of the new/weird formats tested (double boards and big Ante games) my winrate goes up by 2bb/100. Other unusual formats (hi/lo, bomb pots, cucurucho, squid game, etc.) were not excluded here, but they surely decreased my winrate as well when I started testing those (some were solved afterwards though).

My current winrates in 4c/5c/6c are pretty similar, although my 4c wr is the best and my 6c is the worst (still decent though):

My 1k+ winrate is 13bb/100 currently. Please note that I was not testing any new formats at these stakes:

And I feel pretty strong in HU – 15bb/100 EV adjusted with 54% WWSF:

I still don’t play much, usually between 15 and 30 hours a month – just enough to stay in shape. I put majority of my time into running our Pokerninjas.org stable on Apps – I’m a CEO and a head coach there. Any requests to join us sent on 2+2 during my absence will be answered tonight as well.
If you wish to talk to me regarding database analysis, coaching or joining Pokerninjas, find me on Discord (bocian20002), should be easy – I’m a member of RIO/Mastermind/Genius and several other poker related communities. You can also write me via private message here on 2+2, but I will most likely not check the messages daily – will try to do this at least twice a week though. You should be able to find me on MS Teams as well (bocian20002), but I check it once a couple of days as well.
Good luck at the tables!
