Review of The Poker Blueprint at Upswing

Review of The Poker Blueprint at Upswing

I have happily had memberships at various training sites including Red Chip Poker, Run it Once, PLO Mastermind, and Poker Coaching.com. For my latest foray into poker education, I decided on the Poker Blueprint at Upswing.

The Poker Blueprint is designed for less-experienced players but states it is of value to anyone:

The Poker Blueprint is helpful for players of all skill levels, including advanced players. The course provides a deep dive into the core principles of poker strategy, offering insights that even seasoned players can use to refine their thinking and break free from rigid solver-based play. Advanced players will find value in Uri’s unique framework that emphasizes intuitive, high-level decision-making.

I applied myself hard, but found it to be pretty basic. Lessons included the importance of position and polarization. I did get some valuable insights, but for the $500 price I could have bought five months of training elsewhere.

There was a few ways I could reply

For starters I will introduce myself, I am nobody. (ie I'm not a winner at poker yet!)

What game do you play?
What stakes do you play?
Site?

I don't intend to recommend any more training products but I am interested in where you're at currently

The best course that no one has made yet would be 100% dedicated to fish play.

That's how you make money at this game. The fancy plays vs regs are just fun to watch but most people's reg vs reg winrates are break-even or around break-even.

You can probably guess the reason why no one has made this course 😀

I've been beating 1/3 live for 1,000 hours.

I've been beating 1/3 live for 1,000 hours.

ok

so you play 9max nlhe live?

what has been your winrate?

what are you trying to learn/achieve by purchasing these courses?

the direction i'm going in with these lines of questions are: are you trying to improve at the game you're currently playing or are you looking to be good @ new/multiple formats?

a bit about myself: i've been studying jared tendler's material for over 10 years. i have a good grasp of his theories.

let's get to the bottom of this individual issue ie what you're getting at in the original post. and then go from there!

What's your issue with the OP?

I don't think you're a winning player

^^^Are you Uri Peleg?

No

I have seen the guy interviewed

This is my point:

the op said you found the course very basic/too basic!

The automatic follow up q would be: what are you looking for in a course?

If you're looking for a magic pill I don't think you're looking in the right place

^^By all means, buy the course.

You ain't a winning player lad

You never will be

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, so I don't know why these trolls are crapping on you. Upswing has good customer service. If you didn't like it, ask for a refund or a few months of the Lab free, and I am sure they will make it right.

With that said, I haven't seen the course, but I have seen everything else Uri has put out publicly, and it's all been great.
