The Global Grifters

The Global Grifters

Alright, here we go......

I been playing this game for 50+ years live and about 15 years or so on line, and I know grift when I see it.

Certain players are wining at very high rates regardless of their held hands, I'm going to explain how they do it and if not disallowed I will tell you who a few of the grifters are so you can see what I explain first hand.

If their are rules about naming screen names, stop me now.

They grift by entering an agreement with Global where they don't incur entry fees for MTT's, that's zero pay for buy ins, in exchange they have to split all winnings 50/50 with Global, a further part of the agreement is that Global gives them super user access which involves tweaked run outs that facilitate the players winning at around an 80% rate at showdown regardless of whether they are ahead or behind at any point in any given hand.

Show interest and I'll explain more, laugh about it at your own peril, unless of course you are one of the many grifters, in that case lets discuss your larceny.

Comments and questions are welcome, I'll try to answer as honestly as possible.

I'm just an ape; but...at least one of those names I have marked on the notes system for similar reasons. I don't recall what the hands were; because I wasn't in them.

Specifically what occurred was multiple unlikely events where he went all in with the worst of it; and won by the river. The repeated events were enough to draw my attention to the extent that I did mark the players note with "WTF is going on with this player? Superuser?!?"

It could be variance, but if I noticed it entirely separately from yourself; that's an interesting development. I don't know what to make of it; because variance can describe literally anything that occurs; ever. Even the super unlikely events. That said; why are we both marking the same user for the same reason? That adds a layer beyond 'paranoia' to 'maybe there is something there'.
