Winamax doesn't refund losses based on their own buggy software updates
Ok so this happened to me a month or so ago, didn't write earlier since i honestly forgot i have an account here and about 2+2 in general.
I just started playing on Winamax again after a couple of years. I was playing plo5 100 tables, and i had a glitch where buttons would disappear. I re-installed the software, and the problem seemed to be gone.
After a couple of minutes i got into a big 4b pot with aces; i flopped top set + nfd + wrap with AsA5s43 on A62ss in a 4bet pot. Basically as close to 100% equity you can get. Villain donk shoved into me, and all my buttons disappeared again! I couldn't call, and i just watched my hand being folded due to time.
As i left the tables to the lobby i saw people talking in their internal chat about having the same issues. I wrote to their support, and they told me that since the problem wasn't on their "server", they are not liable to any refund. I told them that it's clear that their latest update was the issue, that they have to be liable if buttons are gone, and they wrote back the next day that the "problem has been fixed", but again because it wasn't an issue on their servers, they are not going to give me any refund or anything at all for that matter.
So basically i lost 70€ in that pot, instead of winning extra 130€ for a 200€ pot. It was annoying to say the least, especially since they are ignoring this with such ease. And it wasn't a spot where there was a possibility i would actually lose the pot. It's almost impossible to find a hand for my opponent to have more than 10% equity, and the hands that do have 10% equity are ironically not the ones that would stackoff.
All in all, the 130€ lost in that hand aren't the end of the world for me, but if i were playing higher stakes it would, and i want to warn people of this
