GGPoker RNG Certification: Lack of Transparency Raises Fairness Concerns

GGPoker RNG Certification: Lack of Transparency Raises Fairness Concerns

GGPoker’s Lack of Transparency and Concerning Terms of Service

Unclear RNG Certification: GGPoker claims to use a Random Number Generator (RNG) to determine the results of all casino games. However, there's no mention of any third-party auditing or certification for this RNG. Without transparency or verification from trusted gambling commissions, it’s impossible for players to be sure if the games are truly fair.

Here im going to quote the GGPoker OPERATING RULES (“HOUSE RULES”)

"Poker Rules

You fully accept and agree that the random number generator software will determine all outcomes of casino Games.

You acknowledge and agree...etc "

Platform Integrity and Manipulation: GGPoker’s terms are very clear that players are not allowed to interfere with or manipulate the website or its games in any way.

This heavy-handed stance makes it harder to question or challenge the site’s operations, even if there are legitimate concerns about fairness or technical issues during play.

Lack of Third-Party Oversight: GGPoker claims to be regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, but there’s very little detail on their certifications or any regular audits conducted by independent third parties. This lack of external oversight raises questions about the site’s commitment to transparency and fairness.

i am going to write here my own thoughts about it as well , when analyzing the data of my poker tournaments there, the sample might not be too large, but there are things that are just unnatural, when your ADJ bb/100 is + but losing every tournament , and also being kicked out by having high pairs in the game of Poker , this is common occurance and whoever playes on GG is going to agree to that , but the Cherry on the cake comes right below :

the shared address of the Council of Kahnawake and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission:

  • 1. Lack of Separation: The shared address may indicate a lack of independence between the gambling regulatory body and the governing council, which could lead to conflicts of interest or reduced impartiality in decisions.
  • 2. Overlapping Influence: The Council, which oversees the community's governance, could have undue influence over the Gaming Commission's regulatory activities, potentially compromising transparency and fairness.
  • 3. Limited Oversight: With both entities operating from the same location, external oversight and accountability may be weaker, raising concerns about the integrity of gaming regulation and potential biases in decision-making.

These points could suggest concerns regarding the transparency and effectiveness of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission's role in ensuring fair practices within the gambling industry.

i am waiting for your response people , i want to know what you think about this.

I'm confused as to what you mean here. You want them to allow people to "interfere with or manipulate the website or its games in any way"? This sounds like a pretty standard clause about cheating that I'd view as a good thing.

I don't know if this has changed in recent years, but KGC has a long-standing reputation around here of being pretty useless.

My first thought is that when someone is focussed in on their bad beats from the start at a site, there's a good chance they could work on their own play and/or psychology; I have no idea if that's an issue for you or not. But I know this is true for certain - if you don't trust a site, you shouldn't play at it.
