2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
He made tannehill fantasy relevant I’m just saying
Still looking for feedback on this draft I did few weeks ago
Te is way too weak, otherwise looks solid.
Agree with Jimmy. Hurst and Parkinson could be mostly close zero, and Muth isn’t enough to make up for that.
Also, you’ll have better luck on feedback if you post the players listed by position rather than DK screenshots. Their lineup organizing is putrid.
Time to lock in those Mahomes/Worthy stacks.
Just went Zero tight end n thought muth could avg maybe 10 n Greg Roman off produce offense for tight ends ,figure hurst could have some TE touchdown dependent weeks. Meanwhile parkinson is in a battle with Allen for te1 in a rams offense I figure I could do worse.
Also figured chiefs n Steelers is a game I want to stack
The thought process is on the right track, I think you just need to move up a tier or two when doing a late 3 TE build.
Parkinson has a little more snap certainty since the Rams gave him a solid contract, but the dude has zero history of being an impact receiving TE. We have no idea where Hurst stands on the LAC depth chart. And he has mostly sucked in his career as it is.
I did a 3 TE build starting with Muth earlier today and landed Muth, Fant, and Juwan.
We know Fant is 100% the starter and should see most of the TE snaps, based on his contract extension + Sea letting Dissly and Parkinson walk. Juwan will be the starter whenever he is healthy enough to play, with week 1 still in play.
I got one earlier today at the 4/5 turn. Hollywood went at 44 in this respective draft lol.
In a slow draft earlier today, I picked Kelce at 35 with the intentions of taking Mahomes at 38. Hoping at least one of the receivers will be there in the 5th, but by the time I make that pick, they could all be steamed.
I def like your tight end group better than mines . Whose on the rest of the team ??
Mahomes, Baker
CMC, Mostert, Pollard, Benson, Vidal
Adams, Evans, Worthy, Diontae, JSN, Big Mike, Javon, Tez
Had hoped to take Baker and Otton at the 14/15, but Otton went. McMillan sniped by 1 pick too.
The other alternative was Geno with Fant, but Geno went too. So just took Baker with Fant.
Couldn’t decide if I liked 6/7 or 5/8 better for RB/WR.
Texans signing Akers, are my 6% 17/18 rd Pierce teams dead haha
Loving the pollard and vidal plays got a solid squad .
Qb : Love, Tua, Lawrence
Rb: CMC, Rashaad, Zamir , Davis , Tank, Gainwell
Wr: Kupp, DJM, Tank, Jamo, Thielen, Roman, Demarcus Robinson , Slayton
Te: Engram, Muth , Hunter Henry
Qb : Love, Tua, Lawrence
Rb: CMC, Rashaad, Zamir , Davis , Tank, Gainwell
Wr: Kupp, DJM, Tank, Jamo, Thielen, Roman, Demarcus Robinson , Slayton
Te: Engram, Muth , Hunter Henry
All jokes aside.
Draft Deebo and/or Aiyuk at 2/3.
If you only get one, then draft Kittle at 6/7
Draft Purdy at 8, and Jamo at 9
Now you have a nice stack with week 17 correlation.
Not sure about this one, but I know it's got a chance since one guy in the draft has 5 QBs and 4 TEs, and another has 12 WRs.
QB - Stroud, Baker, Geno
RB - Breece, Achane, Najee, Gibson, Herbert, Mattison
WR - DK, Tank, Godwin, Diontae, Jamo, Bateman, McMillan, Hardman
TE - Schultz, Hockenson, Sanders
Really good team.
I think I would’ve taken a flyer on someone with super high upside over Mattison given how strong you are at rb already
I do not like the recieving room I believe that could be a mess but the running backs are solid .. shoulda took a shot at some boom or bust guys for WR like BTJr gabe Davis rashid shahid because dk and Godwin are solid I don’t believe they possess a ton of upside you’ll need for spike weeks
I’m pretty bullish on Metcalf’s upside and potential role with the new OC. I’m into him this year and mostly faded him last year.
Godwin, I agree, but maybe he gets a boost by moving back into the slot. He’s a tough click for me though, especially in .5 PPR on UD. He’s better on DK, so don’t hate it on that team.
Agree with Jimmy on a different back choice than Mattison.
I’d be more worried about TE, as the floor is really low for all 3 of those guys.
I love dk as well but I think having him as wr 1 when some will have him as there 2nd or potentially 3rd severely limits the upside of a lineup
Got sniped on Hurts, but got CJ at 80 so feel pretty good about this. Went to click Chark in rd17 and found out he went in the 150s haha
Qb - Stroud, Herbert
Rb - Mixon, Warren, Gus, Zeke, Chandler, CEH
Wr - AJB, London, Diggs, Hollywood, Palmer, R Wilson, Tez Walker, N Brown
Te - Kelce, Henry
Going RB-RB and then early(ish) at QB doesn't leave a lot of room for an elite TE.
I did try to get Njoku and Bowers but got sniped on both.
It doesn't, and I think Schultz being your first TE is fine. It's more so Hock and Sanders as the 2/3 that would be my concern. Think you should be probably add someone in the Fant, Otton, Henry, Conklin, Jonnu, etc. range if Schultz/Hock are your first two.
