2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Good luck to everyone week 17. I don’t think I’ve ever had a season where I had no sweats championship week lol .
Josh Allen cost me advancing to the finals in my local redraft.
Of course all the hive mind X bros had him as a top 2 qb predraft. Figures
Lmao
If anyone is looking to get a head start on the rookies for pre-draft season, I think Zach does a great job.

Sounds like the RBs leave a lot to be desired behind Love. Love is likely the only RB that should go round 1, but it'll probably be back half. Zach's #3 guy Waymond Jordan has since announced he's returning to USC, after Zach released this video.
Top 20 WRs

The WRs have some upside guys and is relatively deep, but I don't know that there are any elite guys in this class we'd expect to be immediately impactful. Probably 3-5 round 1 prospects right now.
Throw in a mid to bad QB and TE class, and this might be a pretty rough rookie year for fantasy. But of course, still a lot to work out.
Someone must be eliminated
Haha. If you're not staying ahead, then you're falling behind. Pre-draft best ball kicks off in a little over a month!
I'm keeping out of the best ball streets.
Yep. I'm staying away from pre-draft for the most part. I might do some drafts a week before the actual draft just to familiarize myself with the rookies and ADPs.
You say that now...
Ok, let finish top 100 in the Milly and maybe I'll change my tune.
That could certainly give you the itch. $10k+ would be sweet.
Assuming BBM and the Milly keep the same structures, I think I won't play BBM and anything I'd fire at BBM, I'll shift to the Milly. Lower buy in, same top prize, generally the same payout structure for the top 1k, with a few deviations. I'd much rather be in the finals than not. And you're twice as likely to make the Milly finals compared to BBM. Milly field is also softer overall.
And bonuses/rakeback decrease the Milly costs further.
Agree with all of that, BUT then you have to draft on dks UI haha
That’s truly what holds me back.
In the finals with kittle and looks like he sprained his ankle and could be a GTD. Better hedge in case he doesn’t go: Tonges vs bears or Loveland vs 49ers?
Think Loveland for talent, but not overly confident in that
My Milly teams
Team 1 - Relatively healthy minus a few with the Q tag. Jags and Pats stacks against weak defenses could be fun.
Team - Eagles and Jags stacks. Hopefully it's not a Saquon game.
I like that both teams have pieces from MNF so I can at least feel like I still have a shot going into that game.
Nice! Good luck. You have nice pieces on both teams. Crazy how much Puka there is. I saw he’s on 60% of BBM teams. Adams is some nice leverage if he plays.
Meanwhile, how the mighty have fallen. So much for all of those Rice debates.
He’s a free agent as well. I’m currently carrying 4 defenses to block my opponent (pats, lions, Texans, Steelers) so I might drop lions before they kickoff and pick up hill. My issues with him is that we have seen this in the past where he has a big game with a lot of touches and then follows it up with a dud. Also saw speculation they wanted to get him the ball more for his possible final home game as a Saint

Solid plan - obviously dump Detroit and Houston just before kickoff if you aren't gonna use them. We have all seen the Taysom Hill show before and he could easily give 2 or 22 and neither would be a surprise.
RIP Bowers. What a disappointing season. And I don’t think the market will give us a discount next season.
Mayer could be an interesting option for you now beesch.
Ultimately feels like Tonges without Kittle, Loveland, Taysom and now Mayer are all similar options where you’re just hoping the guy you choose finds the end zone.
On another note, I have 4 nonSF finals team. Every structure is 3-5-7-3. All four were slow drafts too.
Cashed out DK yesterday and got paid within 20 minutes.
Cashed out UD at 11:30am. Crickets...
I did
