2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Oh wow, Miami to Denver is basically the exact same distance as my drive
I like most of the players, but I’m not a believer that Jordan James becomes the backup. If he does, he obviously a steal
Betting on James is certainly high variance. But the only argument I’ve heard against so far is that Shanny drafts RBs every year.
And my argument against that is that all of them suck and end up being cut, anyways. He’s gone through TDP, Sermon, Guerendo, Mitchell, Joe Williams. Not one RB he’s drafted has been involved long-term. He also didn’t draft a RB in 18-20 or 22-23. Obviously there are other outs in trades or training camp cuts. But I’m not really worried about who he might draft or sign as a UDFA in one of the weakest classes.
One more possible out is that he goes back to Guerendo as he is still currently on the roster, but it seemed like Guerendo fell out of favor before last season.
Well I hope they trade for bigsby bc I definitely forgot I had saquon when I drafted him haha
Dk milly
Spoiler
Qb - Jayden, Willis, Rodgers
Rb - saquon, Jacobs, dobbins, Conner, Sampson, bigsby
Wr - JJ, Tee, Jamo, Tate, McMillan, Hill, Hunter , Bernard
Te - Fannin, Kittle, Njoku

The number of times I drafted Saquon and Shipley last year because I forgot I had Saquon.
Haha, I’d rather have your QB room. And wtf is Davis’s TE room?
Didn’t need Kyler but he fell to 120 so I just grabbed him
Hurts, Dart, Kyler
Bijan, Monangai, Jones, Brooks, Bigsby, Davis, Kaytron
Nico, Evans, Adams, Lemon, KC, Reek, Dell, Wicks
Bowers, Hock
I still haven’t been drafting rashee much, even with the suspension not happening
Nagy gone, Bienemy back, so not sure the continue to ppr scam him and if they draft Tyson/Lemon/KC I’m not super confident that rashee beats those guys out even if the ppr scam offense continues
Idk maybe I’m overthinking, but kinda wanna hold off until we know their room. I get that we are getting a decent discount on him relative to his stats when he plays
Probably what I'd do in most case, but I'm just building really extreme teams in the UDFA3.
This was the full runout.
Then I went and did this on the next one. I definitely should've made Pitts a WR on this one though, especially considering I knew I was always taking Strange at 147.

I'd be surprised if they go WR at 9 considering the other needs. They could go WR at the back end of the 1st though with the pick they got from The Rams.
Though with this draft class just going best play avalible might be the best move
Probably fair considering how strong the cbs and some other positions are in that spot as well
Feels like the giants are a lock to take Love (assuming he gets past Titans) now that they have 2 t10 picks. Think it’s a mistake given how bad they are, but I can see them talking themselves into it
The rumors I’ve seen make it sound more likely Tyson will be one of the picks and defense the other.
Ok AJB to the Pats is “likely “ now
Where do we think that moves ppl?
AJB - current ADP 29, new ADP 24?
Devonta - current ADP 38, new ADP 26?
Hurts - current adp 69, new adp 77?
Maye - current 70, new 55?
Goedert - current 134, new 110?
Doubs - current 93, new 109?
Wicks - current 181, new 148?
Hollywood - current 219, new 180?
Agreed. He should be at worst mid-second, with upside to reach the 1/2 turn. It'll probably be hard for him to pass all of the RBs in the 2nd, but from a WR standpoint, I'd put him as WR5. Chase, Puka, JSN, ARSB, then AJB.
From a market standpoint, I'd say:
AJB - current ADP 29, new ADP 18
Devonta - current ADP 38, new ADP 25 - I'd take him over everyone behind Rice and think the market might put him ahead of Rice.
Hurts - current adp 69, new adp 77 - Probably about right.
Maye - current 70, new 55 - Probably about right. I think I still like Lamar and Jayden more, but he should be ahead of Burrow.
Goedert - current 134, new 90-100 - I don't think the market would do it, but there are arguments he should be TE4 ahead of Warren.
Doubs - current 93, new 109 - Probably about right, but I'd likely have a soft fade at that price. A lot of other guys in this range I like too.
Wicks - current 181, new 120
Hollywood - current 219, new 150
Goedert, Wicks, Hollywood ADPs assume the Eagles don't add anyone else significant.
That said, these AJB reports are tiresome. Schefter had 3 separate Tweets about it this morning lol. There is almost so much smoke, Howie might be playing with us all. He's not the type to give up value or leverage, and none of these reports help his case. Also, the fact the original rumors started from Russini also give me pause about how legit all of this is.
The only thing we have going for us is that AJB certainly doesn't like reading these reports and feeling undervalued, so Howie might not have a choice when it's all said and done. June 1st is still a long ways away. It could all backfire too where AJB stays in Philly and is mad and disgruntled all season. I don't want to make too many assumptions until the deal is actually official.
