2025 FF sit/start thread
It's that time of year again
Someome dropped Daniel Jones in one of my redraft leagues.
Given that my current qbs are Fields or Lawrence, seems like a no-brainer to pick up Jones, correct? At least until he comes back to earth?

Jones may not come back down to Earth. He went from a bottom 5 offensive line to a top 5 offensive line. He went from an organization that seems to have systemic issues to one that seems to be on the right track. Shane Steichen was great for Hurts. Jones has way more weapons as well. Their 1-5 pass catchers may be the best in the league. He has an elite RB. He plays in a dome. If it wasn't for the threat of AR getting the job I would have been all over Jones in Best Ball.
I would certainly pick him up. I would hold onto Fields. Lawrence is looking like a bust. That being said, there is a non zero chance that it's just taking time for the Cohen offense to get it going. History tells us Lawrence will leave you wanting more.
6 point passing TD who would you start Murray or Fields at QB this week?

seems like theres a lot of options in indy on whos gonna score or even catch the passes, i feel like this is the same kind of issue devonta smith users have with eagles
i could see baltimore/kc being in a high scoring game and i typically have a slight lean towards wr when making tough decision of wr vs rb in ppr scenario.
pick 1 standard 4 pt passing td 6 pts rushing td
justin fields @miami
jared goff vs cleveland
4pt passing TD
G. Smith vs Chicago
B. Purdy vs Jacksonville
Am being offered Ashton Jeanty and Emeka Ebuka for CeeDee Lamb and Kenneth Walker
PPR
I also have J Taylor and CMac and Aaron Jones
Other WRs are Diggs Jennings (SF) and Davante Adams
Would you do?

I think most people would strongly favor Jeanty + Egbuka.
I favor them too, but not as much. Really depends on the extent of Lamb's injury, which I don't have a good handle on. Nevertheless, I think I like it even if Lamb returns to 100% in 2 wks.
Pick a Flex, 1/2 ppr

You 100% should take this.
Jeanty >>> Walker
Lamb > Ebuka obv
(Of course there 100% are non-longshot paths for Ebuka to beat Lamb and KW to beat Jeanty.)
You do this because Walker is at best your flex every week and you will 100% start Ebuka every week (even if Lamb comes back soon) -- if not as your WR2 (behind Adams) Ebuka in your flex is better than Walker in your flex.
(assuming 2RB/2WR/1FLX...if 2RB/3WR/1FLX, then snap call this trade).
On Fantasy Pros "who should I start" gizmo they have Pollard across all formats
standard 98%
.5 point PPR 81%
Full PPR 78%
Who has a safer floor?
Charbonnet vs TB (already playing Walker)

I’m in a bit of a pickle and I don’t know where to turn to other than this place. I'm 2-2 in a standard 10 teamer 2/2/1 with 6 pt passing TD and hit by injuries and byes. I've started Hampton, Judkins, JJ, Jamo, White, Henry and Lions DEF and I'm down 20 with QB and K still to go vs his Kelce.
I currently don't have said QB and K on the roster, but Lawrence and Butker are available. My bench has the following players: Lamar, Caleb, Jacobs, Bucky, London, Odunze, Evans, Kraft who are either injured or on bye.
I'm thinking Caleb and Kraft are the obvious drops from that group, but with Lamar's injury and how well Kraft has being playing it feels really rough to do that. Darnold and Love are also available and already have Henry as TE or I might even be able to pick up Kraft on waivers (rolling). It would have been an easy decision if I was down 5 or 50 points, but I feel like it's 50-50 so it's not a guaranteed win even if I complete my team. I might be overthinking this and "you play to win the game" idk any help?

Caleb is def the easy drop. I don't believe Lamar is out long-term, so def not him.
I'm with you on the Kraft logic as well - none of your Flexes are remotely drop-worthy, and Kraft seems like the less valuable of the bunch.

You gotta get the W in fantasy leagues, too early in the season to risk it. Unless your team is 4-0 and you simply have an overpowering advantage over every other team, just let Kraft go - it sucks, but that's my thought.
Ended up making the changes and won by .08 ty
