Building a coaching-focused poker platform, looking for feedback from coaches players

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share a project I’m currently working on and, more importantly, get feedback from people who are directly involved in coaching — both coaches and players.

Over the past years, I’ve noticed a recurring issue in poker education:

  • players often struggle to improve when studying alone
  • coaches rely heavily on Discord, DMs, spreadsheets, and external tools to manage their activity
  • there is a lot of content and theory, but not always enough structured, human feedback

The project I’m building (Edgemy) is not a training site and not a solver-based product.
The idea is to create a coaching-oriented platform where:

  • players can easily find and book coaches that match their goals and formats
  • coaches can centralize their coaching activity (availability, sessions, packs, communication)
  • the focus is on 1-to-1 and small group coaching, not mass content

I’m still early in development and I’m genuinely interested in feedback, especially on:

  • what coaches struggle with most today (finding students, retention, admin, etc.)
  • what players feel is missing in current coaching offers
  • what would make a platform actually useful rather than “just another marketplace”

I’m not here to advertise or sell anything — just to learn from people who know this space well.

Happy to answer questions or clarify anything.
