Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Good Weather Locations

Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Good Weather Locations

I am officially addicted to limit Omaha hi/lo (feel free to lol, it’s weird I know) and live in the northwest (Idaho). So I play in Washington state weekly. Then travel to Pendleton Oregon for their tournament series.

This winter I’d like to travel somewhere warm and play. I’m no longer a professional poker play and just play for fun, so I’m simply looking for games + sunny weather. (No plo, no plo8, no big o, again I know, I’m weird)

Obviously vegas comes to mind, so does Texas or California. Any places in particular you would recommend? Like specific city + casino name would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

See this thread, especially the post-COVID posts: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/44/om...

In Vegas, the Orleans is a good bet.

In the Bay Area, I'd try Lucky Chances in Colma (especially on Tuesdays, when they double their Omaha jackpot), Bay 101 in San Jose, and Graton Casino in Rohnert Park (Saturdays and Sundays only).

Given you are looking solely for the game and weather I'd go with South Point in Las Vegas. Safer neighborhood than Orleans in my experience. If you are going to stay at the hotel rather than drive and park there doubt it matters.

For four card only basically Orleans and South Point are your only warm weather, everyday bets for the game. I know you said no Big O, it not sure if you’d be ok with the limit five card variety. If so Maryland Live has it most days (10-20 with half kill). MGM National Harbor has it Friday and Saturday (same limits). But MD is not warm in the winter (though usually not severe cold or snow, but it can happen).
