Best Method to Fund/Receive at Various Poker Sites
Hello. I looked all over and could not find a concentrated thread for funding & receiving funds to/from offshore poker sites for a US player. My apologies if I missed it.
I have an active Coinbase account w/wallet & have used it before to fund ACR. I've also received payment into it from ACR. But the lag times are just so annoying (presently 9 days to move my ACH funds from CB to ACR, for instance).
I recently joined Bovada, and had an issue getting in & set up, so while doing that with a rep yesterday I asked his thoughts & he suggested I use Exodus as wallet and then use Ramp as the fiat exchange partner -- he said Ramp is quick and not so costly. I got set up on Exodus rather easily last night but when I went to fund it through Ramp, I was first declined (US CC), then accepted on retry (CC texted me) and then had my account closed for unknown reason.
So, my question(s) to the forum:
1) Is Exodus a "good" safe wallet?
2) Is Coinbase also good & safe?
3) If Ramp is a no go, what other fiat exchange vendor ought I use?
4) What are reasonable costs involved with exchange, and how long should the wait be between transactions, coming and going?
I've been kind of stuck only playing Global because they are simple & quick to fund (CC) and they cash out almost instantly for Gift Cards & 3 business days into my US checking account. But there's just not enough, or big enough, MTTs there.
If I've missed anything, please educate me. Thank you.

Exodus is a terrific desktop wallet, well designed, versatile.
I have reasonable faith in Coinbase; but I think their fees are too high. I personally use Kraken.
Any respectable exchange is going to have a lag between ACH deposit and being able to transfer crypto elsewhere. If you want to be able to fund an online site quickly, you might want to consider keeping a balance on the exchange either in fiat currency or a stablecoin (but not Tether; they are sketchy AF); or you could take a ride on the variance train and keep a balance in the coin of your choice. But with either a stablecoin or some other coin, you may as well keep them on Exodus (or an offline wallet like a Trezor).
For what it's worth, I use Litecoin rather than Bitcoin, because the costs of tranfers are literally an order of magnitude smaller.
Thanks, Alan. I appreciate your insights.
Have you any idea what might've caused my issues with Ramp and might you recommend an alternative?
