Bringing back eating at the table

I don’t think it would make much difference. Besides that, food grease can be used to mark cards, it’s also unsanitary and gross if you grab a card someone got grease on.

where is eating at the table banned? besides maybe livestreamed tables.

just eat with utensils or use one hand to eat and one hand to handle cards/chips and there are no issues.

Really? At most places? I think it came to my mind because I seen it back at a casino I either went to or saw on y.t. but I truly feel if eating was allowed at poker rooms it'd def. Attract a larger crowd AND losses the games up.. not by that much but def. A noticeable difference.

I've played in a lot of rooms (pre-covid), and I don't remember ever playing in one where you couldn't eat at the table. I think some did restrict it after covid though, and maybe some haven't yet brought it back.
