Where to buy poker chips?
Looking to buy some good poker chips. Past years we have played to the in my opinion (cheap) plastic chips but looking for an upgrade here.
Usually we play once a week $2/$2 cash game and once a month a tournament with 20 players 25/50 25.000 starting.
I have looked into multiple sellers and chip options such as clay and ceramic
Could really use some opinions and recommendations!

People on pokerchipforum.com are always selling SUPER nice sets. You will have to decide what kind of a breakdown you want.
Paulson/GPI (std casino poker chips) are NOT sold to the pocket, but many NON-Nevada states sell their used chips to the public after a major design change or name change. Join the site, nose around the forums a bit, ask INTELLIGENT questions and you will soon have a nice set. PS. Nice chips are more expensive than you'd think (.80-3$ each)
Search for threads with "poker, chips" in the titles and you'll find many previous threads about this; like https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/24/ho..., for example.
As others have said, you can buy a decent set of 11g chips on Amazon.
You can also buy loose chips if you want to customize the amounts and/or quantity of chips (say more $1 & $5 chips & no $100 chips) & build your own set. That's what I did.
I got mine from Discount Poker Shop
