What makes a tournament series great to you?

I'm stepping into a TD role and I'd like to hear directly from the poker community on what some of the most important things are to them when it comes to choosing a tournament series over another.
I have a few ideas how I'd answer this question, but I'd like to hear from you because frankly my view isn't the most important, it's that of the players.

Donkaments are terrible.
My constructive criticism comes free of charge for now. I'm actually thinking of starting a consulting business if I get good reviews about my services.
When choosing a tournament series, you need to consider not only the structure and formats of the tournaments, but also the experience of the players and the financial viability of the event. You also need to remain flexible and ready to adjust certain things according to player feedback.
