Old man equity

There was an older gentleman playing on a WPT TV event saying he plays live tournaments because he benefits from old man equity? While I have a few ideas I wonder what he meant by that and how to be use that to my advantage (as I am old).

I also wonder what other types there would be. I am thinking that women would have equity. I also wonder if an older women would doubly benefit?

Probably he means that people assume he's more likely to play ABC, less likely to bluff in big pots, etc, which he can then exploit.

it means raise or 3 bet run away.. Only plays AA or KK, QQ, AK in late position. If he bets or calls he has a hand, rarely chases, is hard to trap, some tend to let other players bet and they just come along. You can bat um but not for much snd it's the true definition of grinding.

Old Man Coffee fires you fold is the logic, but I play with an 83yr old that always gets a call. I’m amazed when he fumbles them all-in when he hits the flush and someone always tanks & calls with 2pair. I watch this regularly hoping one day to figure out how he does it.

If we’re not too loose we old guys usually get folds, but not like women that always get folds
If we are aggressive and they fold then we don’t need QQ, why are we waiting for it. Deceptive tactics come from knowing the stereotype better than those trying to exploit it.
