about use KXs to do 3bet

If I want to play KXs, like K2s or K7s, is it better to call an open or do 3bet? I prefer to do 3bet no matter who open raise in front of me as I don’t think there is too much 4bet in our home game.

Can anyone give some advice, same question with QXs.

BTW it is cash game, 1-2 US dollars homegame

It depends on the pot size, your position, your stack size, your read of your opponents.

auto betting Kx is not a positive play in a home game

deep stack, low possibility to fold to my 3bet. But I want to play KXs in a aggressive way rather than call and see the flop

On the button, with just the open and no calls, I might 3bet either of these hand types to make sure the blinds fold and I get heads up.

I say might, because I also have to feel like I can outplay villain. I’m not trying to hit my hand, I’m trying to run him off his.

Otherwise, I’m not playing any of those hands

Especially multiway
People think they’re priced in, but the reality is with more people you will lose more often and when you do hit your hand, you won’t win enough to make up for all the times you miss.

Might not be the answer you want, but playing these hands is a losing strategy. They mostly need to be mixed in as bluffs.

thx
I get your points.
Call to hit make you lose money. The money you win when you hit can’t cover the money when you call in.
So should play as bluff when you think you can beat that person. Also it is a playable hand as its high card with flush potential.

Do I get your meaning right? Thx

When you play Kx you should play hard preflop if you're opening or in position not facing a raise.

As already noted, it depends on the proclivities of your opponents. If you think you can get HU with the opener, then a 3bet against a passive and weak player might achieve this aim.

However, unless he has opened with Qx or lower, (Jx or lower for your Qxs), and doesn't connect with the flop, it's almost essential that he'll have to fold for you to win. If you have to push money to get him to fold, the times he calls your last bet might well wipe out the smaller wins the strategy will achieve.

so you mean not worth to play too much KXs and QXs to bluff, but can play them a few times as 3bet bluff when you face a weak open
