Decks must be saved as in the original in .png format
Also try to occupy the entire work area: 134x186 pixels.
From the screenshot I assume you are Italian (I am too)

I found the problem, i write here like this could be useful
If i use paint for modify or do something, the card loses transparency and the edge will be square, so i tried many free programs:

-Photopea online, free and perfect for do what i need
-iloveIMG for resize the photo

Anyway, just for know, on ipoker there was not this problem.

how much modding is possible on stars?
can i just replace the cached images in gx/table-view/cards/.../1440/cache

and then just redirect the launch shortcut to not update the client?

are themes still moddable in aurora? i may have to dig out my old .ini decoder if i can find it in a storage device i have somewhere.

you can cut out a whole bunch of files if you just use the deck/simple/deck.ini and drop it in the root of the deck you are replacing [i.e. deck/western/deck.ini]

it uses just 2 folder sizes, which is good for the lazy; i'm sure it may have some scaling/smoothing issues at certain resolutions and table sizes though.

still hacking around on the csb files to see if I can get in to them and open up table modding again. I miss playing 6-max with 5 players on the top and hero on the bottom.

so this was more tiresome than it needed to be 😉

there's a heap of json to untangle if you want to refine modding on GG Poker other than a quick and dirty replacement

you need to use some tools from the adobe air SDK (the bundled png2atf) command to compress your image to a texture file.

so it turns out you don't need to return the decoded PNG to ATF files for the client to use them, it will read ATF files in that locale.

am I the only one who found changing the preview images a pain the unmentionable?

format needs to be PNG8/A which can cause some issues with some programs' exports (they tend to run 1 bit Alpha and palletized).
I've settled on Affinity, standard PNG export (PNG16 is default)

you can use imagemagick from here and parse your output.

then check that your output.png is png:IHDR.color_type: 6 (RGBA)

oh, and you can batch process mm.png spacer files for quick iteration testing for pokerstars builds:
