THE Official 2024 PGA Tour Season Thread
I don't have a fancy OP or anything. But now that we are in 2024, and are back to calendar schedules instead of the reach-around schedule, its time for a new thread.
PGA first stop in Utah I do believe this weekend at Black Desert in St George, Utah .
Played the neighboring course a long time ago were the back nine is carved out of lava fields absolutely stunning
Funny enough, I was staying at Entrada last week and saw the setup. Course looked great. Ran into Harris English at a coffee shop on my way out of town Thursday morning.

comic entrada intruders include competant greenskeepers fueled by coffee and stronger knowledge of proper potassium and phosophorous ratios no matter what language they chose to speak when they order breakfast late in the week
Tiger's tourney this week and he can't play as he has had his 6th back surgery. I have no idea how many surgeries that man has had .....
i heard sun day red has been prototyping zip-off skin
SS
9 worldwide titles in 21 starts this calendar year
and busts out the saw grip in the last for good measure
I didn't watch any of the event this weekend but it was still pretty cool to read that Charlie Woods got his first hole in one.
Can someone explain to me how this new tour/league doesn’t compete against the PGA
It's on a Tuesday?
Had a dream last night that Cantlay sets some sort of birdie record this week.
so do we just not care about the tour this early in the season? also, Jason Day and his full blown sweatsuit outfit is something....

Yeah i caught a glimpse of that sweatsuit and thought are those sweatpants?
I think the PGA is in a decline . They lamented and bitched about LIV but now have no cut events with select fields. I think folks are sick of the slow play which keeps getting worse
the PGAT has had no cut events w select fields going back to the last century

I don't like no cut events either, but the one event that absolutely needed it was Pebble. Horrible Pro-Am, terrible weather...of course no big names wanted to play even though it is Pebble.
the only reason fedex 'signature events' exist is to get attendance at tournaments like and such as the at&t at pebble beach
also the tiger genesis
arnie invitational
and jack memorial
Jack's Memorial doesn't have any trouble selling out the grounds
never have
Well speaking for myself i was anxious for the tournament to end so i could go back to watching Silo. And Silo is a good show but it's not THAT good. For some reason the golf wasn't that interesting to me.
And yeah, the weather on Saturday didn't help.
rooting hard for Åberg to close this out
his game is so fun to watch
edit: he just dropped the birdie put on 15 to tie for the lead
patrick can't lay on 18
there ya go Red
Glad to see it. Mav running that hot and winning would've tilted me for a week.
