Great finish yesterday. Tommy hitting those back to back birdies almost fooled me, but then once he ****ed up the par 5 it was inevitable.
Last week of watchable golf because they haven't figured out how to finish the season with some sort of hybrid stroke play/match play event that would actually make the final leg compelling.
What happens if Koepka gets a win and good results in the final 2 LIV events. Keegan certainly has difficult decisions coming up.
Brooks would have to win both to even be remotely considered, he's not a viable pick right now. Hasn't been remotely competitive and is closer to Cam Smith status than he is to making any US team.
Scottie with his best Tiger impersonation
Yep, me & a buddy were a couple weeks ago saying he didn’t have any “magic moments” in his career, just one textbook shot after another; well, he sure does now. First time he’s really torn a guy’s heart out of his chest and held it up to his face—both the chip in and the round in general.
Very shocking to me that Mac came out with the turkey squirts after standing up so well on Saturday. I guess Draft Kings was right to have him 5000 points less than Scottie in the Final Round contest. He’d won the previous two times he was the 54 hole leader.
Also, LOL Phil’s old hot take getting resurrected. Just Google it if you don’t know, trust me, including Scottie’s reply.
Jackson Herrington, the US Am runner up, looks like he could be Raymond Floyd’s grandson. His actual grandfather, Happy Jack Herrington, was a helluva rounder by all accounts.
Mason Howell went through Herrington like a knife through hot butter yday. kid is a monster:
Howell played in the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, shooting bogey-free back-to-back 63s in Final Qualifying at Piedmont Driving Club, in Atlanta, to share medalist honors. He earned medalist at the 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur at Trinity Forest Golf Club.
i've played Piedmont Driving Club and it's a beast. wild he took two trips around that track without recording a bogey

on an unrelated note, i'm happy to live in a world where Harry Hall is a top 10 golfer
and fingers crossed Luke Donald drops the ball and leaves him off the RC Eurolands roster
WAs hoping Rickie and Pendrath made into the top 30 but nope Bhatia snuck in
Tommy Lad actually going to get the job done this weekend?
Having followed the European Tour for a long time, Tommy is one of my favourite golfers and he seems like a really good guy.
So I want very much to believe, but I just can't.
Tommy is great, but it's going to be very lame if he picks his first one off in a 30-man event.

Well everybody and their mother bet on him this week since it was so obvious. Most people are not going to find it "very lame".
Also he's won plenty of full field events in Europe even against Rory, so it really doesn't feel cheapened to me.
I'm a Tommy guy, for sure. It's still a (extremely) limited field event.
I’m setting the line at the amount of **** in Tommy’s underpants by the 11th hole tomorrow at 5.5 ounces.
Is Cantlay's family even going to be rooting for him today? Can't think of a bigger disparity of who people want to win.
welp
not the start SS was looking for
Just spotting the field a couple more strokes before stepping on their throats
