THE Official 2024 PGA Tour Season Thread
I don't have a fancy OP or anything. But now that we are in 2024, and are back to calendar schedules instead of the reac
two thousand zero zero berger bhatia party overtime
tonight we celebrate ghost of arnie shutting down local pubs
predict ahead of time bhatia bombs a putt from over twenty feet to win
posted almost immediately before berger served his drive into the slaw
dude grew up weariing ironed and steeled with extra starch drive by chip and putt single table tourneys throught his youth
mix that wisdom with opening the fawcet of a scotts man and no telling where the potential trade winds may take him

Can't stand those pants he wore yesterday with the cuffed bottoms would drive me nuts
I find it a bit odd McIlroy gets a free pass hitting a 180+ mph drive directly over spectators, cutting the slight dogleg on #10 at Bay Hill. Add to that nobody seems to be bothered by it; the spectators seemed oblivious to it at the time, unaware they would likely be seriously injured or killed if an errant drive hit them 20 yards from the tee.McIlroy did it at Bay Hill #10 la
Hitting a thin iron from a tough lie is a lot different then with a teed up ball and driver. Your concern could be made for almost every tee shot. I'd bet Rory hasn't not got the ball in the air with a teed up driver in practice or play in 15+ years.
over 10 strokes gained putting to win by 1 is absurd.
Eh, Bryson just cold topped it three weeks ago off the tee with driver (and still made birdie). The pros still hit bad shots.
Were they going 180mph?
Since the introduction of ShotLink in 2004, the highest strokes gained putting (SG:P) in a single PGA Tour tournament is believed to be Tiger Woods, who recorded +11.2 SG:P at the 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational. This performance is widely regarded as his most complete statistical putting performance of his career.
bhatia confirmed next tiger
I played with my cranky father-in-law yesterday. He went on a rant about batia and long putters and how they should be banned.
The only comp I have for this Morikawa withdrawal at age 60 is Rodgers Achilles. And I guess Venus withdrawal right before playing Serena in the semis at Indian Wells very early in their careers.
Took out 39.61% of the Draft Kings field just like that.
People are also furious over Knapp’s team saying he withdrew due to illness last week when it was actually back spasms. Rolapp being from the NFL can’t be happy about that.
He should also be embarrassed about Koepka being asked “if you win this week how many majors will you have?”
Spoiler
“Four.”
Parking one of my TVs on featured hole #17 has been a joy to watch. You get to watch approach shots and putting on #16 as well.
#17 playing 143 yards today. One group hit the trifecta... 3 up 3 drown.

Fantasy golf is brutal for injuries. Players being independent and not on camera a lot makes it almost impossible to keep tabs on injuries. Ryan Fox was also 4% owned and some other chalk could potentially miss the cut. Could be an interesting weekend for people who manage to get 6/6.
promise this is not some sort of trick
just collecting a series of quips inspired by the likes of you handicappers for potentially easy future reference
spoiling to falsely prevent inevitable annoyance if you willingly choose to read about the following

never understood the propensity to anger twitch over twisted stripes on a rag
in the end everything becomes a listed bog roll ingredient
Lowry just farted in Henley's face
Henley still putts for a birdie to win but he has to go first and proove it
plus sugar shane gets a read
everything shifted after someone pissed on roses cuppa sugar cubes
forget brain freeze he turfed up birdies like my local muni during aeration season
last time i witnessed this many peacock struts was during last seasons feather waving ten months ago
Always been a big fan of Justin Rose. But lol at 45 year old Justin Rose being ranked 3rd in the world.
he more than earned freedom to play a risk free round after gaining such a lead from the previous three routings while crushing the farmers field at age 45 driving a seven stroke uk lead gasoline muscle car
can only wonder the sort of traction his wedge attempts might wield upon hysterically receptive john deere greens
Knapp 24% owned but I bet a lot of Morikawa people had him too (I did).
Si Woo Kim 28.46% currently on the cut line would be a mushroom cloud, though he, Morikawa & Knapp were definitely the wiseguy card this week.
Ya, a bunch of chalk around E as well. PM wave had it easier today, I read 1.5 strokes. Won't be surprised if a lot of those PM guys near the leaderboard fall back tomorrow.
Usually AM does better but who knows. The potential for a record low 6/6% is definitely in play.
I bet Morikawa to win the Players. He played one hole and withdrew on the 2nd tee.
just catching up on events from today my god what is Åberg up to
watching his highlights from a nine under day is a video game cutscreen sequence
