I find it a bit odd McIlroy gets a free pass hitting a 180+ mph drive directly over spectators, cutting the slight dogleg on #10 at Bay Hill. Hitting a thin iron from a tough lie is a lot different then with a teed up ball and driver. Your concern could be made for almost every tee shot. I'd bet Rory hasn't not got the ball in the air with a teed up driver in practice or play in 15+ years.
Eh, Bryson just cold topped it three weeks ago off the tee with driver (and still made birdie). The pros still hit bad shots.

In the early 90s I watched Ian Woosnam cold top 2 drivers in a row on #6 at Bay Hill into the water in a practice round. I'm still not sure who that happened.

The only comp I have for this Morikawa withdrawal at age 60 is Rodgers Achilles. And I guess Venus withdrawal right before playing Serena in the semis at Indian Wells very early in their careers.
Took out 39.61% of the Draft Kings field just like that.
People are also furious over Knapp’s team saying he withdrew due to illness last week when it was actually back spasms. Rolapp being from the NFL can’t be happy about that.
He should also be embarrassed about Koepka being asked “if you win this week how many majors will you have?”

Fantasy golf is brutal for injuries. Players being independent and not on camera a lot makes it almost impossible to keep tabs on injuries. Ryan Fox was also 4% owned and some other chalk could potentially miss the cut. Could be an interesting weekend for people who manage to get 6/6.

Usually AM does better but who knows. The potential for a record low 6/6% is definitely in play.
