What is your biggest mental challenge in golf?
I’ve been coaching golfers on the mental game for a while now, and one thing that always fascinates me is how different players experience pressure.
Some feel their body tighten up when the moment matters, others lose trust in their swing, or get caught chasing mistakes. What’s clear is that these reactions aren’t random. they’re part of how the mind and body respond when the outcome suddenly matters more than usual.
I work as a mental performance coach and I help golfers build self-trust so they can perform under pressure the same way they do in practice.
I’m curious to hear from you guys - what’s your biggest mental hurdle on the course?
If anyone wants to dig a bit deeper, I’m happy to offer some perspective or guidance here in the thread.
