GOATiger Woods Thread (lol BO)
Is Tiger GOAT?
Do you care that he had 13 mistresses?
Is he going to be as dominant as he once was?
What do you think of his new swing change?
Is Tiger a good guy?
Does Tiger act like a gentleman on the course?
Does Tiger get enough TV coverage?
Would you like to see him get run over by a steamroller?

Tiger has an achilles tendon tear. Once again from his insane workout regimen, which caused and irritated nearly all his injuries. Chronicled either in one of his caddies or coach's books, or both. Tiger's dad had a great quote way back that only a bad marriage or injury can keep him from passing Jack. Boy, did that prove prescient.
Seems like me and Tiger have injuries in common except him having a car crash can't say I've had one of those yet. The Plantar fasciitis and now the Achilles tear, fun life.

Interesting because I had almost the exact pattern of Tiger's injuries, all overuse syndromes from excessive exercise and refusing to step down from the exercise when the symptoms started. Plantar, achilles, knee, back. The pounding he put on them was insane, like running Green Beret tests in army boots when he already had achilles/plantar problems.
I'd say my Achilles was over used, definitely didn't listen to my body. My plantar injury come out of nowhere though. Literally did a small leap in football/soccer and when I just planted my foot it was slightly off and then bam that was that. Recovery was a bit iffy as well because I could walk on it fine after a lot of rest, I'd think I could play football again but one push off it and I knew it wasn't recovered. Took the best part of 6 months to get it fully healed.

I'm no doc or PT but my experience is that the two are closely related, achilles and plantar inflammation. One reason I say that is the same calf stretch seems to greatly affect both, some surgeries help both, and they co-occur a lot.

100% for me personally the Achilles was in the left leg and the Plantar was in the right. I will say the Achilles is way way worse at least for me. I'm not sure how bad I did either of the injuries and stupidly I never went to see anyone about them. Achilles is so so right now after about 7 months, Can walk and play golf just a little stiff in the mornings.
Didn't expect Tiger to go for Don Jr's sloppy seconds.
