Now she has wrapped up POY

Incredible

Thought her win at the Match Play was her most impressive and what a great format (Justin Ray agreed).

With 34 tournaments (including the Solheim Cup) on the LPGA Schedule, 2025 promises to be a very exciting one.

Below please find my top 40 Player of the Year predictions.

Go Nelly and no clue whats happened to Brooks game

no Linn Grant in the top 40....hmmm

Jeeno Thitikul with 8 straight top 10s since August last year. including AON Risk Reward for $1 million and CME Champ for $4 million.

Not included in the above, a LET win in Suadi Arabia for $650k.

yes indeed she is a machine of consistency

Damn that Black Desert course is gorgeous

The LPGA has played a bunch of visually stunning courses this year.

Fields Ranch East is .... not that.

Wild finish at Evian!

Incredible final round by Woad, that's how you mount a charge. Came up just short, but super impressive.

Evian was crazy at the end

love it. she appears to have a very bright future, shame the tourney wasn't televised.

They scrambled and got it live on CNBC this morning from 9-11 ET. Replay this afternoon from 3-6 ET.

Just an absolute clinic.

the Lottie Woad timeline

April 2024 - won Augusta National Women's Am by 1
May 2024 - runner up NCAA D1 Championship
June 2024 - number one WAGR
Aug 2024 - t10 Women's Open, 6 off the lead on the Old Course, wins Smyth Salver as low amateur

Jan 2025 - turns 21
July 2025 - won Irish Open by 6 strokes with a score of 21 under as an amateur
July 2025 - t3 with Minjee at Evian Championship with 13 under, one stroke out of the playoff as an amateur
July 2025 - won Scottish Open by 3 with a score of 21 under in her professional debut

really wish she could compete in the US Women's Am at Bandon next weekend just to see what would happen

Nice to see Brookes win again

Nice to see Brookes win again

+1, especially this event where she probably has more pressure (and support) than at the majors.

Presidential granddaughter Kai Trump with a lol sponsor’s exemption this week. High school senior whose AJGA ranking is 461. I mentor a class of 2027 girl with a ranking much better than that.

I’ll set the over under at 167.

Funny you should mention this as this tournament is 20 minutes away from my house and I am going to try and go tomorrow or Friday. I looked at GHIN and her posting history is interesting. I volunteered at this event as a walking scorer through 2023 so I see some of their interesting sponsor invites they give out. They gave one a number of years ago to a local, she shot 90 in the first round.

Great start by Nelly.

I definitely like this course more than the Club at Carlton Woods, let's see if they can draw any kind of crowd on the weekend. Attendance so far seems pretty sparse.

only witnessed the last two holes of her second round
but if she plays even half as well in relation to par no doubt she walks away with the championship

14 under, 7 clear of the field after 36 holes is stupid good

Deng gal from Canada had it going but fell off a bit. Future Star?

HUGE future star. Accomplished amateur, checks every box. Looks like she's already got an apparel deal.

Having the US Open at Riviera is a huge win for the LPGA. Easy call yesterday to watch that over the Memorial, no offense to the olden bear.

Why in the high holy would you name you daughter Asterisk? I'm a nice person, but if my parents named me that, I'd punch them in the mouth.

If they wanted to be unique, they should have named her Final.

Asterisk Talley felt things slipping away on Friday.

After opening with a round of even par at the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open at Riviera Country Club, the 17-year-old amateur got punched in the mouth by the George C. Thomas design and thought she’d be heading home early.

She isn't. Finished -1 and playing the weekend.

Asterisk Talley is an American amateur golfer. In 2024, she won the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball and was runner-up at the U.S. Girls' Junior and the U.S. Women's Amateur, becoming the first to compete in three USGA championship final matches in the same year.

her mother is from Greece and in her native language 'asterisk' means 'little star'
wonder if you disagree?

yes i will always watch drive chip & putt during Masters week because how awesome is it for those kids to be competing in any sort of golf activities at Augusta National

Asterisk Talley, similar to Akshay Bhatia, is someone i probably only remember participating because of their name.
speaking of which keep an eye out for Texas Terry in the future
