I haven't bought any of this stuff, but became aware of these interestly named companies from the Fried Egg newsletter.

Putt Buddies - https://puttbuddies.golf/
The HJ Glove - https://hjglove.com/

I have to wonder how many people find them through misspellings or when looking for something not golf-related?

has Drive Guys been taken yet?
that hj video is hilarious. can't they find a capable golfer? and they have a pull back shot of a woman putting barehanded, later to zoom in to a gloved female hand taking a ball out of the cup.

Probs going to have to rebuy my FJ's shoes. On the weekend got down to the golf club took my shoes into the club house and put them on. Notice the left one was pretty wet. Took it off to investigate and come to the conclusion my dog has decided to take a pee inside of it. Chucked them in the wash when I got back but can't get rid of the smell. Tried this spray thing today so going to see how that goes but anyone have any tips shoot them my way.

and yes I did play the round with a wet shoe 😃

that's amazing
so waterproof it can't get out either
suggest not using kitty litter to deodorize them

Yeah I've tried a lot of stuff now from this foam stuff that works on carpets and stuff to white vinegar and I've even just took a shower with them. I think the smell is coming out very very slowly.

baking soda?

Yeah trying that now.

I bought a new pair in the mean time. Hopefully I'll end up getting the smell out eventually if the Baking Soda doesn't work.

Has anyone used the ProSENDR Training Aid?

It's a product developed by Sean Foley that has mostly gotten rave reviews from pros and general public. Curious if anyone here has tried it out at all.

Can't say that I've ever heard of it.

It's golf show season here in what is (in non El Nino years) the frozen north. I'm debating if there is anything I even really want to go look at. I already have way too much gear.

lol, completely forgot that I ordered a pair of True Linkswear shoes this morning since they're clearing some stuff out. Bought a pair of OG 1.2s.

I bought one of those divot track boards last week. It has helped me a lot. I was just wasting time hitting balls at the range and not really making any progress. My first issue was toe striking, so I managed to change things to striking more in the centre. I played 9 holes today an most shots were centerish. I'm still hitting a bit behind the ball, but can work on this with the board inside, rather than on the range where you just get a meh ball strike, but never really sure what exactly you are doing wrong. def the best training aid I've ever bought.

Picked up a 10L0L Golf Cart Enclosure 2 Passenger 600D and Mr. Heater heater. I used them when it was 52 out and very, very windy. The "feels like" temp was 46. It was a life saver. I usually don't play when it's below 60 so this will extend the season a couple months.

Just ordered this, Tested my old ghost putter out today which is pretty similar to this. However, when I got the ghost putter the pro at my local decided to cut the shaft to about 30 inches. This was about 10 years ago now.

Will keep hold of my old putter and will see how I get on with the new one.

Anyone lucky enough to snag a Sun Day Red ball maker yet?

Just bought a dozen of these left dashes, going to try them out this afternoon. They are supposed to be higher launch and lower spin, which seems like it makes sense for playing in CO.

Ordered a new wedge from Sub70, just have to wait for it to be built and shipped. Big fan of how easy it is to get a custom club from them.

Went to the largest golf shop in the area this afternoon to look at their putter selection, they had a couple hundred different ones but nothing caught my eye.** Some of that was it was just too busy, it's a big sale weekend for them and it was packed.

What I really ought to do is some research - and ask at my local shop - to see how feasible bending a putter is. I want something more upright, since I'm finding the most consistency and comfort over the ball lining up that way. Because of the lie angle of my putter, I tend to end up with the heel slightly off the ground. If they won't do it I may just end up ordering something. I have a putter in the closet that I can sacrifice for science, so hopefully it's doable.

** actually, that's not quite accurate, I did find a used Cure RX5, which I think is adjustible for lie angle ... but it was a lefty. And the price tag was also ridiculous for the condition.

I got a new set of Sub70 wedges a few months ago and am really enjoying them.

Ended up ordering a Bell putter. It arrived so I threw it in the bag this morning, early returns promising but we'll see how I do on faster greens tomorrow.

Picked up a Bushnell Phantom 3 yesterday. It’s my first ever piece of golf technology and it was great, especially for someone used to using stakes and sprinkler heads to establish distances. Unfortunately I know I’m going to leave it stuck to the cart (via magnet) at some point in the future.

Got the clubs out for the 1st time in 12 years and realized I only have 13. (D-3-5, 4-PW, 52,56, P) My irons and wedges are Cleveland and obviously old, so I was thrilled when I found this old Cleveland 60 for $30. Soaked it in vinegar over night and rubbed it with steel wool.

Just had a new grip put on, so in a few hours it’ll be ready for the range.

Vessel Lux Pro Cart Bag (Black)

Just ordered the Clicgear 4.0.

Visiting my 90 year old dad this weekend. Got his old putter out and gave it the vinegar and steel wool treatment. He was happy to see me clean it up and hopefully use it.

Did the same with an old Ping putter my late mother bought me 35+ years ago. I now have 3 excellent putters but cannot putt to save my life.

Spent $165 at the local used equipment shop for a driver and 2 hybrids. Never hit a hybrid before yesterday and now I’m forever changed.

Pro tip, if you want intelligent golf advice ask here instead of randoms in the AMA forum. We have a clue here.
