Cannot build stat: BTN RFI when at least one blind has 30–50bb

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to build what should be a pretty standard situational stat, but I’m starting to think it’s not possible in Hand2Note (at least with the normal interface), so I’d like to ask if there’s a solution or if this can be added as a feature.

What I want to analyse is:

How often BTN raises first in when in the blinds and at least one of the blinds has a certain stack size, for example 30–50bb.

In logical terms something like:

BTN = RFI
AND ( SB stack between 30–50bb OR BB stack between 30–50bb )

So I’m not trying to do anything crazy – just condition BTN’s open frequency on the stack configuration of the blinds.

What I’ve tried so far:

In the Actions tab of the stat editor, I set:

Hero raises

First non-fold action on street

Position = BTN

Stack size between 30–50bb

The problem is that the Stack size filter there always refers to the player performing the action (BTN in this case), not to SB or BB.
I haven’t found any way to say:

“BTN RFI when SB has 30–50bb”, or

“BTN RFI when BB has 30–50bb”, or

“BTN RFI when at least one blind (SB or BB) has 30–50bb”.

As far as I can see, there is no option in the stat editor to filter stack size by position (SB, BB, etc.) independently of the acting player, and no simple way to build an OR condition like “SB OR BB in a given stack range”.

Hello!

Unfortunately, you can't directly set the opponents' stack sizes without specifying their actions. Yet, stats ending with villain actions are invalid stats and don't show any correct results.

The only workaround in your case is trying the Effective stack option for the BTN player. It will also filter SB and BB players with higher stack sizes, but that's the closest option we can get, sorry.

We have received similar requests, so I'll forward yours to our developers.

If any other questions appear, feel free to ask!
