Heads-Up Hyper or Spins for Low Stakes After a Long Break?

I'm looking to get back into the poker scene after taking a long break. I'm eyeing the low stakes games to ease back in, but I'm torn between heads-up hyper-turbos and spins. Which would you recommend for someone in my shoes, and why?
Some things I'm considering:

Potential for steady growth in bankroll
Current state of the games (are they still beatable at low stakes? I play only on stars)

I'd really appreciate any insights from those of you who've been grinding these formats recently. What are the pros and cons of each? Has the landscape changed much in the past few years?
