thanks for your answer guys! Ive been playing at bodog lately,so in regard to that, the fact that there is only 1 lobby open per buy in means that regulars will be constantly fighting each other right? .Does that happen at every buy in level? or is it possible to still fight a good amount of regulars at certain buy in levels

I'm still sitting a bit there at $25 and $50, but there's definitely a good amount of times where you'll get sat by someone who is clearly a decent reg, and they will opensit the new lobby that comes up after that game starts. I've had it happen where they do it 4 times until I'm at my max amount of games open, and someone takes the 5th one immediately. Often it seems like I'm playing 2 or maybe 3 different regs when that has happened.

For me, there's a bunch of other sites where I've earned lobbies at $20-50 or €20-50, so I'm fine taking lobbies when they seem to be unoccupied. It is what it is. If poker was a person's only option for a job, hypers are probably still decent, and there's always Zoom/6max that a person could shift to.

It's not fully dead yet, but it's a format that has been dying a slow death for years. If you're adaptable to playing across multiple sites (battling for lobs), you can still scratch out a decent living at husng.

For my money though, the recent changes Bodog made with only 1 lobby open per buyin amount really stuck in the final knife. After 10 years of playing husngs mostly fulltime, I'm getting ready to move onto a different career before the end of 2024.

Yikeeessssss, the husng poker world is sounding really depressing..

P.S., good luck to whatever your next endeavors may be

I have been noticing that fish checkraising in hu sngs, at least the low stakes, is very underbluffed. I would say fish check raises are almost always 2 pair or better, especially if they check call the flop and check raise the turn. Has anyone reg who has been playing hu sngs notice this. It is to the point where even if I have top pair on a dry board, I am inclined to fold.

I’m looking for an old HUSNG thread, I remember the OP being a riddle about 100 people each with a different color hat and the object of the game was for as many people as possible to correctly guess their own hat color. The OP may have selected the best answer to receive a free coaching session or something like that.

Anyone remember the thread?
