Bodybuilding Classic Physique Division Offseason log
You know you who it is already. Can't recall my old password or even what email I used so here we are. I promised I'd st
Guy straight up aura farming at this point. When is the actual contest? What is your goal? I believe pro card would be amazing but, at least initially, you weren't thinking it was in the cards. Hmm, now that I think about it, the goal is probably not a specific placement but the friends you made along the way?
Ngl, first read of this I assumed "hot pot" was a euphemism for the first girl. Then I read it again and, while it made more sense, was much less interesting.I'm pretty sure you've never dared post a pic anywhere on 2p2, and if you have, I certainly missed it. However, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you are gonna fall short for most of us if we ever thinking "I'm feeling
He posted pics in sports betting years ago. I don’t know how well he has aged, but at the time he was good looking enough (in a twink way) that if you told me he was a member of some random K Pop group, I would have accepted this.

Wild swings in energy/mood/posting propensity, so I probably haven't been super clear on goals to be fair
1. Pro card is actually irrelevant or even a negative this year. Contest is September 7 in Hong Kong about 22km from my home.
2. I will win a pro card, it's just a matter of time. The real goal is actually competing as a pro and doing well.
3. I'd still say I'm an underdog, maybe 30/70.
Explaining why it might be a negative to win now: If I do this it means i basically have to take 18-24 months off of competing as I'm not ready to actually do well in a pro show. Generally from an exposure standpoint what you want is to qualify as a pro, enter a pro show, and do well at that pro show. In Asia we mostly have pro qualifiers the same day as pro shows, so for instance at my show in Hong Kong, the classic physique pro qualifier is at 11:00am, then it goes straight to pro show for bikini and men's physique, then the pro show for classic physique kicks off at around 2:00pm a few hours later. Pro show winner means olympia qualification, which in my world means basically set for life in terms of an online coaching career, very little social media grinding required at that point. I'm not at a level where I could qualify as a pro and then do the pro show a few hours later and actually do well. There's a divide between pro card winning physique and competitive pro show physique because of pro card inflation.
Furthermore, I have my squad of foreigners that I more or less converted from strength, injury, and fatness to health, aesthetics, and fitness. Some natty and some were enhanced in both sports. We want to do a show together next year in August which would be huge aura having a squad of 5 foreigners who become friends in 2021 who used to be fat slob powerlifters with awful bloodwork all getting on stage lean, shredded, and aesthetic with great bloodwork on fewer PEDs. We really kinda lifted each other up and I was "the instigator" so to speak. Pro card=can't compete in amateur shows anymore.
Dun,
Amazing memory. But I didn't post it. It was TomG at his wedding which was forever and a day ago. (His kids look like me.) I appreciate the kind comments about my looks but I'm over 40 now and I think I have a few gray hairs creeping in which kinda kills the twink fantasies. But we can all remember that time you talked shit to me about putting 225 OH and I had to inform you that I've done more?
But really, I've enjoyed your contributions and discourse over the years. (Over a decade tbh?) You seem like a thoughtful and well considered dude, and I personally think I'm better for having looked at both your posts and shirtless photos and given them consideration.
Yugo,
If you think you're getting some General Tso's with some lo mien. Sorry. It's just me beating my sad half asian meat in the mirror. I'm not sure what you would think. But again, I'm not entirely sure you do.
Guy,
More shredded glutes pls. I think the gay jokes are only temporally apropos. (Despite the obv fact its all off season. I'm aware. Not funny tho.

Thanks for the kind words. I remember you weren't very receptive towards my sports betting insights and we got off on the wrong foot. But I am glad we got past that and someone (besides me) got something out of the shirtless pics. My wife came across some pics on my phone some years ago, and asked what they were for; and when I explained they were to show random dudes on the internet something got lost in translation and it didn't go over well. But all these years later I feel some vindication now.

If I could go back to the beginning of my PED journey this is what I should have done and what I will do if I'm lucky enough to coach anyone who is making the jump from natural to enhanced. Get lean first. If you want to start 125-250mg test solo even with some growth hormone while you're in this long hard cutting process, sure fine go ahead. But I mean get REALLY dug out lean like in this first picture. Take a long time to diet; you will not get there in 16 weeks. Literally nobody will. This is going to be a minimum 28 week but probably closer to 40 week task with a diet break or 2 interspersed in there.
After you've gotten that lean, THEN start a real cycle.
His coach is Calum Rastrick who does the exact same cycle with every client; combo of test+primo+masteron with primo being the favored PED. They push the test up to just above whatever that person can tolerate without an AI, which for a younger guy is typically around 375 to 500, but sometimes only 125-250. Then start adding primobolon and masteron on top of that and start growth hormone from day 1 of your enhanced journey. Just knowing what I know about this coach's approach, a safe guess as to what cycle is being used here is probably 375 test 300 primo 300 mast 5iu growth hormone.
These PEDs all just work a million times better and have way less side effects when you do them from a very lean starting point. Literally everything related to bulking and adding muscle works better when you start leaner. When you're lean, you barely need any food to achieve a 300-400 calorie surplus, it causes no strain on your digestive system, and the nutrients you intake preferentially get stored as glycogen or muscle tissue, and its incredibly easy to get stronger workout to workout without needing to cause strain on joints and connective tissue. When you're fatter, you need a much larger amonunt of food to hit that same 300-400 calorie surplus, that amount of food is more likely to cause strain on the liver and digestive system even if you don't "feel it", it gets much less preferentially stored as glycogen and muscle tissue, and that same surplus doesn't necessarily cause as dramatic of a strength gain workout to workout. But what happens is that since hunger hormones get so out of whack when you are that lean, people hugely overshoot that 300-400 calorie surplus, start piling on bodyfat, and then lose that amazing response to food/peds/training and before you know it they're needing 4400 calories to make progress from workout to workout, their insulin sensitivity is shot, the bodyweight they're gaining is being stored as much more fat, their digestive system and liver have taken a beating, they're aromatizing more, they're getting acne and libido issues that they weren't getting from the PEDs before.
But as I've mentioned, when I was coming up a lot of the PEDs/bodybuilding in general info was garbage. 2020 is when this community really made big strides forward in terms of quality info. Before that the common wisdomw as "YOU GOTTA PUSH HARD IN THE KITCHEN BRO, BIGGER SURPLUS=MORE MUSCLE GAINS ALWAYS. 6000 CALORIES PER DAY OF CHICKEN AND RICE LET'S GO, 3G OF COMBINED TEST DECA DBOL ANADROL, BIG COMPOUND BARBELL LIFTS LIKE SQUATS, DEADS, ROWS, AND BENCH!! LET'S GO!!! OLD SCHOOOL1!!1!!!"
Now? Isolation movements. Micronutrition matters a lot. Pay attention to digestive health. There's no reason to overdo surplus or even protein. Low fats, blood pressure medication, precise surplus, fatigue management, machines are actually based and non-beginners need very little compound work, cardio year round, you can't make gains efficiently if you aren't healthy, don't go overboard on the PEDs, higher frequency training ppl, upper lower, full body training, fruits and vegetables, high fiber intake, sleep hygiene, circadian rythmn, sunlight before screen light, be wary of sympathetic dominance and remain calm/relaxed/chill literally always except when you are training, stay lean year round. These are the things that matter, not 600mg of caffeine at 4pm before the gym yelling and screaming and doing 3 hour workouts with sets of 8 to failure on your barbell squats when your knees are sore and then smashing the local KFC and going to bed at 2:30am after binging on ps5 gaming.
Get this exact same guy with the exact same genes and have him start the exact same cycle but his starting point was at 80kg with higher bodyfat and there is no chance in hell he's gaining 16kg without turning into a big fat POS.
Dun,
To be fair, you're posting insights like the guy who breaks even at the local 1/2 game, and that forum was for a bunch of people who were the equivalent of nosebleed pros. In a weird twist, almost all of us have moved on (lol Iowa!) and are all still friends who see each other on vacay or weddings or whenever one of us calls the other up to visit. So there was definitely an "in" group that was always open if you were an actual pro. But needless to say most of us were rather dismissive of casual viewpoints.
It is kinda like Guy continually ranting about PED forums (as seen literally above) and spreading the gospel to keep low IQ views out of his little kiddie pools of knowledge. We just wanted a safe space to talk shop without listening to some dude rambling about crushing in-play due to his superior knowledge of body language and knowing when a pitcher or QB looked "defeated".
I mean not to pat myself on the back too much, but if a newbie bodybuilder with patience came to my log and read all these types of HC rant posts he'd probably be off to a good start to get where I got in ~5 years from when he started compared to over a decade for me. I'm basically just writing to my earlier self. I made so many dumb mistakes being influenced by dumb people and I was too dumb to know how dumb they were at the time.

I know. I was just joking. In other news Lagway (Florida QB) is coming into the season with some injuries that appear to be more serious than Florida is letting on, and the schedule is brutal. Smart money on U7.5 wins.
Lebron recently posted this video on social media, and it is getting trolled for being a dumb exercise with very low weight. But I dont really haven enough expertise to determine if the trolling is fair or not. Thoughts?
I saw that video. He was doing snatch grip RDLs with a sumo stance.
Seems fine for a 40+ year old, that's how I work out. Very safe and it activates hams and gluten well.
There is probably a sharp guy behind that training. So I wouldn't laugh at it, the man spends 2 million a year on the body.
Evo what's going on with Hussein Farhat? I am too old and don't understand modern age trolling. All I know is my boy Jeff nippard is devastated that he fell for the Nattiness of this guy. And my man Greg doucette looks like a big deuschbag when talking about the whole situation.
There is an element of 1) not wanting people to get hurt 2) dipshit HS educated colored folks paying scam artists massive bucks.
Honestly most of the coaches from pro teams seem like fucking idiots.
Mike mancias looks qualified. Even though you can make the argument that Lebron James made him, just like TB12 made his trainer.
I would think after training pro athletes for 20 years the donks would get outed. But who knows and who cares.
Exercise looks legit to me, shiet might try them tomorrow. My guess it's glute/ham tacular plus some upperback from the snatch grip. Would love an exercise that hit those muscle groups effectively and only have to pick up 100 pounds.

That sounds really fun. You know, if I was shredded, had friends, lived in China or whatever.

I was more thinking the Asian I'd be getting was someone like Evo's rich ex g/f.

Anything is probably legit - I assume pro athletes are doing a lot of stuff and trying to neckbeard one movement on one day with one random load might not mean much.

How long had that guy been training natty to get to that first photo?
Can’t imagine there are many people with the discipline and focus to get to that point before starting PEDs? Very impressive physique though…in both pics tbh

Yeah, but you're a clown.
Yugo,
I knew what you meant. Being intentionally obtuse is part of the joke.
All,
I find this huge mutual dicksuck kinda heartwarming and semi-gay. I mean, I like virtually all of you for what you are. We've been here for what, a decade (?), and we know what we are. I am a borderline old person who doesn't lift day to day but still carries more muscle than most people my age because I used to lift. One day I will return to my hobby of lifting weights, but the shitty aspect of local gyms does not guide me there. If any of your travels cross into northern/eastern Europe feel free to hit me up, we can grab a beer or a lift or whatever you may feel necessary in your life. You can even take a tour of Casa de Thremp or the future Casa de Thremp depending on your timeline. You may even get picked up in the Porsche. (I hope I don't have to pick anyone up in the Porsche. Its an embarrassing dog carrier I bought for my wife.)
To ruminate on my own goals, I'd like to finish out this house and finally get a "fun" car. Not this silly 400+ hp Macan. Which, while appealing in its own rights, is still a glorified dog carrier. I really wanna get an Aston. But the DBS was just killed, and I got such a sick in with the Porsch n00bs. It is a tough consideration. Obviously the price range I'm considering is "entry level plane/yacht" level, which is also full blown AIDS. Like... new Cessna or new Ferrari is a real question many people cope with. One of the downsides of being Asian and so insanely miserly is that the level of comfort I need wrt bank to buy something like this is well beyond a reasonable number. smh.
As a funny anecdote, our house plans have prob 3-4x in cost which resulted in my MiL commenting something along the lines of "r u p00r?" Yes. I do not have 1.5-2m sitting in a bank account, Perhaps I am poor.
only bad thing about the lebron video was him dropping the barbell on the bench. **** that annoys me - can bend the bar out of shape and make it impossible for Oly but also feel different very quickly for benching
now obviously it's his gym and he can afford to buy new barbells on the regular but it's what it's teaching the kids man...
well...the other bad thing was the headline I saw which was 'Lebron lifting HEAVY' which....when it's 50kg squats and 110kg RDLs seems a little toppy for a supposedly generational athlete who is redefining all kinds of fitness and longevity boundaries
NB - his squat video has a white weight that I can't read the number for - it looks huge, but white is the standard colour for 5kg and to my old man eyes the number does look like 10 so that's my best guess

One of my biggest regrets is NOT doing a natty prep at least a 125-250mg/wk prep. No exotic stimulants, just caffeine+yohimbine+ephedrine (though ephedrine is illegal both here and in Thailand. And i mean like actually illegal, not just written as illegal but unpunished.) I'm sure I will do a 250mg/wk test caffeine+yohimbine only prep at some point in the future after my competitive days are finished and I'm in my late 50s. But yeah then you're going to need at least ~32 weeks starting from the bodyfat I started at. I bought into the late gh15 kool-aid stupidly and thought it was all the drugs. Early Gh15, when the account actually belonged to Nasser, gave really sensible recommendations on diet and PEDs. It was very reasonable and effective cycles like 750 test 225 tren ace 600 eq per week as an offseason cycle and then eating tilapia, rice, and pineapple for most of your meals, small surpluses and deficits and having a sushi cheat meal once a week. Then later somebody else took possession of the account and started saying trt test and 1400mg/wk tren. But the stuff he posted in like 2009 was actually very good. Ahead of his time. I ddin't know any better back when I started around 2013/14. I had bad training, bad diet, and bad PED ideas and not enough first hand experience to differentiate between good and bad advice.
There's probably not that many who cna get to that point before starting PEDs, but i think even natty a lot of people could get to that +3% bodyfat, and that would still be a great starting point. A lot of it is less discipline and focus and more knowledge about what to do and avoiding the bigorexia (I'm losing muscle/I'll look small in a shirt).

I watched Paprika last night. It was the first and only Satoshi Kon movie I did not really enjoy. I'd give it a 5/10. Not unbearable, but not good by any means either. Way below the very high standard set by his other movies.
Looking very good and that’s a great angle to play to your back strengths
What’s the gnarly dark half moon patch at the top of the hamstring under your glute?
My niggah that's a glute striation.

In related news, is this the place where we talk about Kpop: Demon Hunters (is that even a thing in China?). Seems to be the next Frozen. My daughter knows most of the songs by heart, and she is a little young to really be into it. Possibly this is the wrong crowd and no one even knows what I am talking about. We shall see I guess.
FWIW I have listened to all the songs from the movie too many times, and this is my favorite. Solid pop banger IMO.
I would expect a large percentage of people posting here to have watched it and enjoyed it. It is objectively great. And that song is a banger.
