Mindflayer's looking for abs Log

I Turned 55 a month ago. On my birthday my 7d.a.wt. was 166.77 lbs. I have lots of financial, education, and fitness goals, and thought I should start posting to give myself an extra boost.

Since I am up there in age, I am not trying to build muscle to look good for the ladies. I have been studying health and longevity for a while and so i thought it would be better to set an alternative goal. If I end up looking better that is just a bonus.
The actual goal is to become more healthy. By that I mean.
Eat better, get a good night sleep, exercise regularly, lower my weight and keep/gain a bit of strength.
I will give more explanation of those goals as time goes on.
At the top of my list is to lose enough body fat/weight to see a six pack. I am sure I do enough ab exercises to actually have abs, but it is hidden under a layer of fat.
I have been tracking my weight and exercise daily since January 1 and will post my morning weight and 7 day average, (7d.a.wt shortened to 7d) which I use as my actual weight. When you see my diet, you will know why.
I am sure this log will change over time, but as it may be interesting, I will post about all the things that I am doing to get my health in good shape.

just over a week to hit 166. are you gonna make it?


If I do two fasts Monday Oct 21 my regular day (with group)
and an extra on Thursday Oct 24 (solo), I should make it the cutoff of 166.0 or less.
This assumes that my weigh in day/time is the morning after my last fast.
If I only do my regular group fast, I should hit a low of 166.3 or so.
This makes me think, what is the actual (day after weigh in) weight of fighters?
I am assuming that my actual weight is +2lbs for water loss overnight.

Essentially was 4pm before I thought about eating while preparing for a 7pm meeting.
Then thought .. just work.. skip food.

Ate all of these calories from 9pm-10:30pm.
a good 40-50% of that was junk food.
Was up online with friends past 9pm instead of sleeping early = Fasting Fail)
This is my #1 trick to fasting success.... get up very early and go to sleep early
because my weakness is eating when I am online looking at the computer/
chatting with friends online.

Found out that you can't use boiling water to make protein drink.
The powder clumps (coagulates) and you get a hot mess.
Was similar to hot water with some ground beef chunks mixed in.
No matter how much you crush the clumps it sticks together.
Must mix with cold liquid.
