My poker setup went viral on Kickstarter

I built a detachable ArmRest/Rail system for my poker mat, and it went viral on Kickstarter on Day 1.

Here is the story: We played home games every night back in college. I was always the host, and I really wanted a poker table for better quality play (mainly so the cards wouldn't slide off the table). However, we are in Hong Kong, so we definitely didn't have the space for a full-sized poker table. We never bought one, but I decided to build something similar.

Let me show you the building process:

I took my first prototype to a furniture manufacturer and asked them to make a long version for me.

Bad news: We tried it, and it failed. The cards kept sliding under the gap between the rails and the mat.

It took months to figure it out, but finally...

Now, it stays planted on the mat even when we lean on the rails. Best of all, it bounces the cards back when dealt, just like a real poker table.
