WSOP TR: third time is a charm?
Last year didn’t go as well as my first wsop in 2022 when I cashed in all three events I played.
Let’s hope
"He called me with a jack high!"
(not quite)
No luck in the 4 pm never got anything going. On to the 8 pm $200 turbo but man I’m tired. It’s loserville in here too.
That was the mystery bounty entry I donked off
Now for some 10 handed poker! Big turnout for the $250 1 PM daily deep stack. 641 runners so far.
I’m thinking about playing that tomorrow, let me know how many runners you get when registration closes.
…And take it down!
FYI they are good about posting those results quickly:

The 1PM has been doing healthy business. 600-800+ entries a lot of days.
We are at 953 right now with huge lines everywhere and 75 mins left to register.
1,020 entries at end of registration. We have 75k, 3 starting stacks at 1,500 BB.
Yes we went to 9 handed when the field was down to 200 or so. Sadly I busted shortly thereafter after squeezing an EP open and MP big stack flat w AQo and 13BB. Big stack KK GG. He got me good.
It’s funny because in the seniors event I folded AKo in a somewhat similar situation although we were much closer to the bubble there - UTG open jammed for 12BB; UTG2 was a big stack and just flatted, which I read as super strong.
I was wrong - original raiser had AJo and flatter 99. Nines held on the K high board. Had I jammed there my day could have been much different.
Finally leaving today after being stuck in my room for three days after a positive Covid test. Overall besides that the trip was good; ~15% ROI on $12k in buyins. Lost about $2,500 in four 1/2 Aria PLO sessions - in all cases either got the $ in way ahead on the turn or with the right odds for draws on the flop and lost, but you can’t eat Sklansky bucks!
Sorry to hear about the covid, brian. Hope you're feeling btter.

Ivermectin? Or maybe this strain is pretty weak to get over it in 3 days.
I didn’t take anything. Weak strain.
Bummer to end the trip like that, but congrats on the good run at Venetian and the cash in the senior event.
